I don't know why, but every time I see one of your sanctimonious and self-righteous posts, the first scripture that always comes to mind is, "professing themselves wise, they became fools." The next two usually are "On that day many will say to me,‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them,‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’"

If that's really what you want to pray to your version of God Mr Aist, the best of luck to you, you are going to need it. The Bible tells me so.

Your bible and your religious beliefs have no bearing on SCOTUS nor the outcome with regards to Prop 8 or DOMA.......and why must you idiots keep your mind in others personal affairs?

On the other hand, God is his Word votes 1-0 in favor of heterosexual marriage.

No wonder TEC flocks to the secular courts instead of God dedicating themselves to a sola scriptura principle.

God is alive. Why would you read an old book to find out about someone you could very well talk to yourself?

Is the Spirit locked up in a mistranslated book?

No.

Maybe some day you'll find that out, when you get your nose out of the dusty revised book and meet the Living God.

I doubt it though, you don't know where to look*...

Then, why does God create so many gay folks, send so many of them soul-mates to cherish and love, and then continue to bless their families?

Are you saying that God does it as a twisted practical joke?

Here you go, live a productive life, love your spouse and your kids, and love me with all your heart, and, then, WHAMMY!!

I condemn you to HELL!!! HAAHAA!

Not a God I would follow.

When you think about marriage, you automatically begin to think of other people's genitals, and where they are putting them?

That's creepy, you know.

But the biblical marriage relationship was ORGINALLY polygamous and incestuous.

Is that what you're advocating ?
