Yet the SCOTUS basically said, they could.

Hon, you can harp on this all day and people will refuse to understand, because understanding is incovenient in maintaining a world view that has everything to do with self-interest and nothing to do with respecting the truth. You and I know there is a difference between sexual objectives and sexual orientation, and the sexual opportunity you are attracted to may or may not have anything to do with the gender by which that opportunity is presented. Fetishisms like pedophilia are a symbolic acting out, where the psychologigal narrative is the compelling factor, and in pedophilia the fact of a child and how this fits into the particular narrative is the compelling factor rather than the gender of the child. But again people want to just look at the overview rather than the essential elements by which that dynamic is developed from-much like the touted CDC staistics that are always banted around here, depriving them of a context to conveniently uses as a gotha number rather than context which might make their conclusion fall flat on their faces. Give you credit for trying, Darling, but in a bottom of the barrel forum like Topix it's probably wasted.

I know there's no real hope of opening the painfully closed minds of most of these fine examples of the species human that hangs out here. I do what I do for entertainment purposes only. Sure I dispense factual information to the clearly clueless, but I don't take this at all seriously.

Is the proper spelling, Lucy, or Luci? Or could it be Looci? Amy? or Aime? or perhaps Aimey? WTF difference does it make how I spell my moniker, straw man? Get a life, you officially bore me

For some odd reason I'm suddenly being reminded of a line I heard on TV last week. These two guys were talking about this electric shock collar that one of them had put on this other guy at his bachelor party.

Me too; they're sort of the printed version of chimps wearing fezes and peddling trikes around a ring-you enjoy their simple attemps at human activity.

I'll bet the Catholic Church now wishes they never permitted queers to be ordained to the sacred priesthood.

Obama should keep his nose out of things he isn't a party to.
When the Scouts want to drop the ban on gays, they'll do it of their own accord.
I'm willing to bet that right now, the Boy Scouts wish they had just let James Dale keep his eagle scout badge.

The Catholic Church didn't ordain, "queers" into the priesthood. The Church ordained men, who were given special graces, and those men chose to abuse children. There is no documented proof, that I am aware of, any of those priests convicted of abusing children, were homosexual.

Um, the word "neither" isn't a regular personal name like those others are, bonehead. But hey, be bored if you like. You're certainly boring enough yourself...:)
