If a gay company boss would say heteros can eat something else, you'd all applaud him for being "courageous".

It's his opinion. In a society with free speech he can voice it. If he can't, you no longer have free speech. Simple as that.

"OMG! It's hate! And bigoted!" Strawman argument. At the same time, in mosques throughout your respective countries, imams are preaching about murdering "infidels". That doesn't bother you.

Double standards.

It doesn't bother us any more than the GOP conservative Reich Wing making laws against United States citizens whom they choose to label as "infidels" or "abominations". Every "free" word spoken has it's repercussions. Every person is free to speak his or her mind. None are obligated to agree with them. That's life. Own it.

It's starchy, and makes a fine thickener and lends a gentle sweetness to what is thickened. This assumes that the potatoes were peeled. lol

It was just a publicity stunt designed to temporarily boost his sales among certain populations.

It's a non-story ... UNLESS we react to it.

<quoted text>What has that woman done to me? She squatted down in some alley and gave birth to a thing, she calls it her son, but I call it a thing, that can laugh and taunt the death of a friend of mine, that's what the dreadful woman did to me. Her spawn deserves NOTHING but scorn, as she deserves blame for raising such a monster.
If you think laughing at death is appropriate, you're no better. I HOPE your mother raised you better than that.
And your mother had a birth defect. Yes, I think homosexuality is a birth defect. No one blames her. You are making and obvious attempt to 'get even' with this person by insulting his mother. You can't go much lower. That makes you the thing you call him.

Don't know how much of Guido Barilla's apology was true, that he supports LGBT rights just won't have them in an ad campaign. If true, why the comment that we should buy his competitor's pasta? But... now the only way he could possibly stop the backlash is to have an ad with a clearly gay couple preparing his pasta in happy domesticity.

You don't seem to understand what the concept of Free Speech means. It simply means the government will not jail you for what you say. That's it.

It has never meant that other people cannot react to what you say, chastise you for your words, picket your businesses, and refuse to buy your products. To prevent that would be to illegally prevent the free speech of others.

Now, as to your claim about gay business people, has that ever happened? And can you prove that no one is bothered by religious speeches that inflame hatred? And a "straw man" argument may be perfect legal, but proving it irrelevant is also free speech.

Where did you get those examples, and how are you applying them rationally to this story?

You 'think'???

Having read your posts, it's obvious to most that you do not think. Now, having an IQ lower than 85, like you do.... THAT'S a birth defect.

I've only run across a couple of people who refer to tomato gravy. And I never heard it in Boston's North End. The first time I heard it was from a Jew.
I don't think it's common. But then again, I thought everyone drank pop when I was growing up.
It may be a more localized phrase than not. I too drank pop, soda was carbonated water.

You will note that my roasted tomato sauce recipe is made entirely in the oven. Perhaps you would like to surprise Frank by expanding your versatility with the oven. You can even pretend it's dessert. Tomatoes are fruit, after all.
Actually, I copied and pasted your recipe, and emailed it to him. He's always looking for fresh ways to do his Italian dishes, so rather than cheat him out of it, I thought my way was better. For him and for me.

For him to be so horrid and to find death of a human FUNNY says all I need to know about his "mother", she obviously was seriously lacking in parenting skills.

Have I gone too far in making fun of her? Probably, I don't know the woman, I hope I never do. However, those little beasts who come on here day after day and taunt and screech insults have for absolutely no reason except to try to hurt others deserve ZERO sympathy. I don't seek them out, they seek US out.

If they are so precious and worthy of protection, according to you, why the hell are they here? Why are YOU here, by the way?

You've incorrectly assigned motive.

Many of our brothers and sisters are serving in our various police units and armed forces to protect us all from such fanatics.

In the meantime, we will continue to try to BUILD greater Freedom and pluralism in the world.

WE aren't calling for anyone's death (well ... not most of us).

No we wouldn't call such a gay boss "courageous". We'd call him "stupid".
