The accuser has changed his story so many times that he has no credibility.

There are two lessons here.

First, how tragic it is that we still live in a world where they anonymous, unfounded, and totally unsupported claims of someone that's clearly not credible can deprive the rest of us of such a great talent and destroy someone's career without as much as a question asked.

Second, be REAL careful who you sleep with. Screwing around with crazy people can be lots of fun, but crazy people have a tendency to stick around and keep inflicting their crazy onto you LONG after you stop sleeping with them....:(

As far as screwing around with crazy and\or "other types of" people, sometimes one doesn't find that out until after a bit of fun.

(And let me tell you from experience, that if you suddenly discover to your astonishment that said person is missing a body part that EVERYBODY is born with, then RUN outta there asap !)(I wish i had.:()

My heart is with Mr. Clash and I salute his decision to resign. To me that shows just how good a character this man's soul really is; to want to settle this privately and not hurt the show or the character.

I don't think anything "inappropriate" happened with this man and underage men. The investigations show that nothing illegal happened.

Maybe nothing happened at all. The burden of proof is on the accuser(s). Just because somebody accuses someone of something doesn't mean anything really happened. Accusers do lie sometimes.

Remember the Duke Rape Case and what the outcome was with that ?

I disagree. Of course, Mr. Clash has the right to do whatever he wants to and he has my support, regardless of what he chooses (as if he needs MY support, but whatever....).

What troubles me is that someone would let these allegations, which appear to be completely without merit, to for him out of his job.

But what also troubles me is that, assuming the allegations do turn out to be false, people would get bored with it pretty quickly and the whole thing would blow over in short order.

I'm thinking there's more to this than we're getting. Either Mr. Clash was considering retiring anyway and this was just as good an excuse as any, or maybe there *is* more to this story than we're being told so far.

Whatever the case, it's tragic and sad that we still brand people with Scarlet Letters and judge them without knowing the story...
