The House won't be a problem; the only question mark is the Senate. At least the anti-gay Senate leader has said she will allow a vote on the issue this time, which means it will likely pass.

Because they recognize same sex marriages performed in other states and countries already, all they do by continued denial is make same sex couples travel a few minutes to a neighboring state, sending the money involved to anther state. Kind of silly and self defeating. But then those opposed to equal rights make their decisions based on emotion rather than logic and reason.

I really do look forward to New England being a solid Marriage Equality block on the map.

Don't forget the midwest. Iowa and very soon, Illinois! Wisconsin can't be far behind.

And at the rate we are going, Missouri will be joining in about 2100 C.E.

And add in Delaware & New Jersey (eventually) and the entire east coast north of the Confederacy will have marriage equality.

Then we work on the west coast block- California & Oregon.

And expand in the midwest- Illiniois, Minnesota, Wisconsin.

How do we link the 3 groups, short of a SCOTUS decision?

I was thinking more along the lines of Michigan, Ohio, & Pennsylvania, but that's probably just as unlikely.

I've got this odd feeling that Michigan might end up surprising us, especially if we throw our weight Nationally behind cooperative agreements with the Unions and Industry there.

Depending on what the SCOTUS does this summer, we'll likely try for a vote in 2016.
