Sep 28, 2012 Full story: River Front Times 19

Oh, it's so ON! Matt Gaines of Smithville did not take kindly to the billboard recently erected by 1090 AM, a Catholic radio station in his hometown.

Wish I'd thought of that one.

As a devout Protestant, I don't mind Catholics, but why do they always have to flaunt it ?! Just keep it behind closed doors where nobody can see it.

Roman Catholicism IS A CHOICE, and it IS possible to leave that horrible lifestyle and become a God-fearing Protestant as Jesus wants !

Jesus was a Lutheran, remember !

Sarah you got a reference to that one, seeing that the Lutheran church didn't form until the 16th century.

The catholic church hasn't changed since the 16th century... oh wait it has, no longer kills people for saying the sun and planets do not revolve earth or the earth isn't flat, finally accepted evolution as true, apologized for not speaking out against Hitler, says it will start reporting sexual abuse to local authorities... since there was a case only 2 years ago jury is still out on that one. And they will eventually also apologize for treating gay people poorly as the science will become more and more complete showing that being gay is innate and that to not allow them to marry is just being cruel.

The deliberate placement of the <s> at the end means it's satire.

The Catholic Church has a long and sordid history of homosexual-pedophilia and the homosexual-molestation of children.

The RCC did not change. The people changed their governments, against every effort by the RCC to stop it, to keep them from using secular government as their Pilate and Saul.

Hence, the separation of church and State.

Many countries still do not have separation of church and state, including Great Britain.

I'm certainly NOT the only American who dislikes The Obamaniac and crticizes him. I'd say at LEAST 45% of the U.S. popualtion does so too.

But true to form, all you Libs who are constantly screaming "TOLERANCE", brook NO DISSENT when it comes to The evil Obamaniac. Josef Stalin is PROUD you are carrying on his ideals !

In the GB, it's not what it used to be. Like the monarchy, it's hanging on by it's tassels.

I doubt it will change in the next hundred years, and certainly not in the foreseeable future, say 5 to 10 years from now.

Part of her official title as British monarch is "Supreme Governor of the Church of England" and "Defender of the Faith"

It is not legal for a Roman Catholic to be British monarch, which is why George I, of the House Of Hanover,(in what would later become Germany) became King Of Great Britain And Ireland upon the death of Queen Anne. He was a distant relative fo Queen Anne and became King only due to the fact that all relatives more closely related to Queen Anne were ALL ROMAN CATHOLICS.

Presently, Queen Elizabeth II is now the second-longest reigning monarch in British or English history (England and Britian mean 2 differrent things). The now-3rd-longest reigning monarch in British or English history is King George III, whom we fought against in The Revolutionary War. The longest reigning monarch in British or English history is Queen Victoria. If she lives at least another 3-1\2 years (approx.), Queen Elizabeth II will become THE LONGEST-REIGNING MONARCH IN BRITISH OR ENGLISH HISTORY, and quite possibly the longest-reigning monarch in the history of te world.

Queen Elizabeth II is now 86 years old, and since her mother lived past the age of 101 years, there is every possibilty that she will live an equally long life.
