Paul Ryan Opposses Reinstating DADT

Sep 24, 2012 | Posted by: Sei | Full story: lezgetreal.com

The political infighting inside the Republican Party continued as GOP vice-presidential nominee Representative Paul Ryan told WPTV, an NBC affiliate, that reinstating Don't Ask, Don't Tell would be a bad idea.

Stop exaggerating. No significant argument ever claimed there would be "disaster", but only a continued advancement of depravity in our culture.
During The Revolutionary War, Prussian Baron von Steuben offered his help to General George Washington in training the raw U.S. troops. In addition to training the troops, he wrote the first U.S. Army Manual which established sanitary regulations, housing regulations and the other things needed to train an army. His Army Manual was used by the U.S. Army for more than 50 years.

After we had won The Revolutionary War and secured our independence, Congress was so grateful to General von Steuben (for whom the annual Steuben Day Parades are held each year in various cities), that Congress granted General von Steuben a large tract of land in upstate New York, along with a lifetime pension.

General von Steuben was openly gay, and while training the troops, he lived with 4 gayboys he brought over from Europe. General Washington certainly didn't seem to mind.

When General von Steuben died, he left hs estate to two gay U.S. Army officers with whom he had shared his life.

General von Steuben - A GREAT GAY AMERICAN PATRIOT !

REMEMBER THE STEUBEN DAY PARADE !

B.S.

The anti-gay GOPasaurs all claimed it would destroy morale and cause additional combat deaths and no one would want to join the military and no one would reenlist leading to a "hollow force".

Elaine Donnelly of the Center for Military Readiness, Tony Perkins from Family Research Council, Maggie Gallagher from National Organization for Marriage were just a FEW of the anti-gays chicken littles who ALL proclaimed repeatedly and UNDER OATH TO CONGRESS that allowing gays to serve openly would be a "disaster" for the military.

Backpedal, backpedal, backpedal..........

They did so under oath ?! Can we indict them all for perjury and give them all life in prison in the electric chair ?!

This thread boggles my mind and the negativity and vomit never end, and so I simply want to highlight what's going on here because it's outlandish as usual.

The military wouldn't publicize the negative effects foisted upon it by the political decisions undertaken by the civilian leadership.
If they do, you can be sure they will overthrow the civilian leadership.
This point only *supports* the idea that problems have been negligible or definitively not serious enough to warrant review -- for if this post is true, it supports the notion that *egregious* problems would become public knowledge.

Give this poster another two blocks of text or so, and he's now asserting that *panic is resulting* in the military ... yet somehow no one alive has heard about it.

I confidently believe that *NONE* of these persons was *EVER* speaking up on behalf of women who have historically had gigantic problems in the military because of straight guys (after all, gays are only 2% of the population, remember?... remember?).

It's never, never about the issue being highlighted. For the antigay, it's about singling gays out in that context, and claiming disaster. Again and again, 100.0% of the time, there's NO PROBLEM in the minds of these people EXCEPT where gays are concerned -- even if identical actions by straight persons result in disaster and horror; the implication is that such disaster and horror is *NEVER* as "bad as" that which gays supposedly "produce."

What the Homocrat Party did to the US Military should constitute a major national security scandal that the Homocrat Party has foisted upon the US Military in a lame-duck-session, after most of the voters fired all the Homocrats from Congress in 2010 and that the Homocrat Party should have to answer for.
Homocrat politicians willing to throw the military into chaos to appease rich queers that donate to Democrat politicians.
And Obama signed it.
This kind of politicized garbage borders on treason.

You're an idiot.
The military is controlled by the civilian branches of Constitutional powers.
For now.

Ah, so the report that came out last week saying there was, you know, NO PROBLEMS, that was all part of a conspiracy?

It gives a fantasy validation of special considerations for the sexually deranged, which is then used by the sexually deranged to construct more fantasy intrusions on society. It's all based on delusion. Leftists have used the sexually deranged to convince civilized societies, that delusion should rule their lives. That's a core destruction of everything ever establishing a civilized society. It's establishing a loony bin society with the loonies running the loony bin... Affirmative Action for loonies, turning the military into a bunch of pansies now using any excuse to claim PTSD, which fulfills the Leftist intent to undermine our military.
All that was in the post's subtext.
Ending DADT was about allowing homosexuals to serve openly in the military...it has nothing to do with the "sexually deranged" - seriously, what are you babbling about?

Yeah, most military organizations go out of their way to publicize their weaknesses and vulnerabilities to potential enemy forces.

So the military is in "chaos"? I think that would have made the news if that were true. Instead EVERY service chief says gays & lesbian serving openly has had NO effect on morale, combat effectiveness, recruiting, or retention.

If they can't concentrate on the task at hand, then they are failures and should not be in the armed forces. It's unprofessional and grounds for termination to not be able to handle a job's responsibilities.

Poor str8 men - unable to refuse an unwanted (and unfounded) sexual advance - meanwhile, women do it all the time, including in your poor armed forces! And what makes you think any gay man would want to ask out a dumb str8 man? Gays have standards. Meanwhile, as anyone knows, no woman is ugly after 6 beers.

Men like you sure are dumb and weak if they can't simply say "no" to someone else asking them out on a Saturday night!

Sure must be scary being pathetic little you, eh? Thinking the whole world is out to get you, thinking that y
