Most of the unraveling of TEC has been under Schori's short tenure, and she isn't done with the denomination yet.

LOL!!!....

That is certainly not true.

The issues that have led to the present difficulties have been present in nearly every denomination of Christianity since before the division between tthe Eastern and Western Church.

They exist throughout Christianity and are evn being showcased in the RCC presently, as it grapples with the devil within its own system of errant celibacy.

These problems are on the table and are being addressed under the guidance of the House of Bishops and the Presiding Bishop, both this one and her predecessor.

TEC is doing the right thing.

Under Schori so far, five dioceses have "left" TEC, and her tenure isn't over.
What other Episcopal PB has lost so many members?

No, that would be the Spirit cleaning house.

You might recall the Spirit tried to do that with your church as well with the Beloved John 23rd.

Romans have done everything they can to shut the Spirit out and keep man in.

No thanks, our allegiance is to Jesus, not the 'mother church right or wrong' bs..........

Joe,

You are a clueless, insulting twit, full of negativity toward most everything and everybody associated with TEC.

KJS is the Presiding Bishop of TEC. She was elected by the House of Bishops to lead during a difficult time that every Episcopalian who pays attention knew about well in advance of her selection and installation. Discord in TEC openly broke out under the prior PB, not under KJS.

The Episcopal Church is not in any way or measure "deconstructed."

All of these reports of Episcopal Dioceses leaving our Church are misrepresentations of fact; lies.

Some people would like to see this happen, such as yourself, but are deeply disappointed when it does not happen, such as you are.

Well,.... That is your problem, not ours.

You don't know her and have never met her. I have.

No, KJS was an unknown, dark horse compromise candidate who -- with the help of Bps. Robinson and Spong -- chased away nearly 2 million members of TEC, and her reign isn't over yet.

That's what we do at General Conventions.

When do romans do that?

Oh, that's right, the 'people' are pointless in your church, they do what they are told, just like voting for Obama and gay marriage.

LMFAO!!!!.....(the F stands for Friar)

I can't begin to recall how many times you have reiterated, insisted and vociferously defended Katherine Jefferts-Schori's baptismal vows in the Roman Catholic Church as marking her forever as "Roman Catholic!"

Ha! What a hypocrite and a jokester you are, now saying that such vows are only petitions by parents on behalf of their children! To hear you tell it now, her indoctrination into Roman Catholicism through age eight really means nothing after all, especially since her parents took her out of the Roman Church and into Confirmation in The Episcopal Church.... And now she is the Presiding Bishop of TEC. A very good one, at that!

Sorry, Joe. You've shown your indefatigable insincerety once again, for the umpteenth time. Such repetition must be a deeply-seated habit on your part borne out of your Roman Catholic baptismal vows that you now deny.

Rev. Ken
