Why do American gays are so odsessed with what`s going on in Russia? There are a lot of countries where gays are put in jail for being gays, yet, American gays seem to don`t care about these countries.

That's a good question:

Maybe it has to do with the fact that it is the only major power where it is illegal. It really isn't the same to protest when is some country that they won't visit even if homosexuality was legal there.
Look at the first map in the link, homosexuality isn't exactly legal in the former British colonies in the Caribbean (for example: Belize, Jamaica, and Guyana) despite the strong Western influence in the area.

I didn't know Washington considered Saudi Arabia a major power. But then again they have all sorts of weird ideas. Saudi Arabia is a resource rich country that spends a disproportionately large part of their money on weapons.

I know!
How much difference is there between a law against homosexual propaganda and our own "don't ask, don't tell" in the military?

One would think that the Oakland City Counsel has more important things to deal with, such as: CRIME, CRIME, and CRIME. Did I mention the CRIME problem in Oakland?
