I guess this just goes to show that the bigots are wrong. Just because you're gay doesn't mean you'll rally a lot of support from progressives, liberals or the GLBTQ community.

The only message the Republican Party really put out was "We've got to defeat the Democrats; Obama will destroy us".

They spent two years touring their slate of Presidential contenders around the country. It was a traveling circus and painful for many people to even watch.

And all that time we kept hearing Michelle Bachmann and others chant "Government doesn't create jobs." Yet right after their convention, all that evaporates and suddenly Romney is going to create jobs galore.

These two candidates had to deal with representing a party that said women who get pregnant from a rape weren't really raped. That alone creates a huge mountain to get over.
