Sorry I didn't pay any attention to what Obama had to say about gays. I was too busy noticing how much more taxes were taken out of my paycheck starting this year. I got a raise but end up taking home less.

Thanks Obama!

You could try moving to England. Their top tax bracket is 90%.

Well, if he, Obama, is now admitting he is in favor of gay rights, after pretending he wasn't for 4 years, what else would he like to confess? Maybe that he really is a Muslim? That he had relationships with those gay men from Church? That he hates America, and wants to destroy her? So many secrets. I want to be proud of my President. I want to believe him when he speaks. I might be wrong about him. Maybe he deserves my respect. I will listen to him for awhile, but he has lied to Americans in the past. Plus there are the attacks on Benghazi, and in the African desert that still are not explained.

Gee.... now you know how married gay couples feel when they have to pay more taxes than straight married couples. Sucks, doesn't it?

But that tax break increased the deficit by a significant percentage and we could no longer afford it.

And yet you still have enough money to live the life of an expatriate in France? You could always apply for citizenship there, you know.

You might try picking a country and sticking with it, liar.

HOW would USA taxes possibly interest you, since you are in FRANCE and all...quick...which is further north? Arles, or Paris?

Why do you care considering:

1.) We aren't in the top 2% of the richest population in USA.
2.) You live in France and not the USA.

Let's see. If you are in the top 2% of income, maybe. Or if you are talking about the Social Security deduction, that is because it was cut for a couple of years by 2%, and now has ended. Of course, they could have continued that 2% tax cut, which means you probably would receive less at retirement. Is that what you would rather have?

Never!

I'm still amazed at how far we've come in such a relatively short period of time. But there is so much work tyet to do, as evidence bd by the vote in Rhode Island today on marriage equality

Turn the page on years of war and recession? Well? What's on the next page?
DUH!

I'm still looking for an answer as to what this President has done to deserve a second term, let alone a Nobel prize winner.
What a joke!

It' s actually a win/win for the idiot/dipstick/troll. A reason for 4 wonderfully long years to post on the gay threads, and claim to have a reason to do so! To hell with that "family time" he is so fond of defending! The little man has a dragon to slay!

Someone hit a nerve. Oh, could it have been me? LOL Just little ole me, with the same user name I have always had? I'd gather the family around to watch me post on a gay thread, but it just doesn't have a feel of the great American family I see someone posting about...over and over again!
