COLUMBUS: The Roman Catholic bishop in central Ohio says the firing of a gay teacher at a Columbus Catholic school was based not on her sexual orientation but on the need to maintain the institution's values.

No, it was about the teacher's sexual orientation. If she had an opposite sex spouse there wouldn't have been a problem at all. (And since Ohio currently doesn't have either marriage or civil unions available to same-sex couples it's clearly not about marital stats.)

So they sacrifice a person who has served her charges faithfully for years to the idol of their "values".

How does a waxed naked dude or gal in body glitter represent the Catholic faith?(Mardi Gras) How about Caribbean heritage?(Carabana festival/parade held in places like Toronto every year.)

Clearly, they do not, as all informed people understand that Mardi Gras celebrations have become secularized through the centuries, misrepresenting the original intent of the religious holiday [i.e., the last day before Lent]. In fact, Mardi Gras is recognized as an official state holiday in Louisiana.

What's your excuse?

That's too much! The RCC an American Catholic Bishop claims morals issue. Hmm guess there is no moral issue with sexual abuse of children eh padre? More likely RCC hypocrisy!

Not at all; in fact, once the Church began to purge homosexual priests from its ranks, the crisis began to abate. It is a fact that 80% of the adult-child sex abuse cases within the Church were homosexual in nature.

Onward and upward.

What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. If we aren't to judge all Catholics by the behaviour of some during Mardi Gras, then perhaps we shouldn't judge all LGBT people based on a few celebrants at a Pride parade.

And of course those who aided and abetted the crimes continue in their positions in the Church, or have even been promoted.

Which is worse -- the criminals or those who covered up for them and in many cases allowed them to continue committing their crimes?

The entire class of same-sex practitioners is judged on the basis of their aberrant sexual behaviors. That many of them flaunt their aberrant sexual behaviors in public, as witnessed by "pride" events, is only further proof of their psychological disorder.

Some folks who identify as Catholic engage in debauchery.
All folks who identify as homosexual practitioners engage in debauchery.

I've seen it once and agree with Crowder's perspective.
It appears that you may be the one with the repeat-viewing fetish.
Well...that...coupled with the fact that you're slow on the uptake.

As I undestand it, the Church continues to clean house.
Due to PC freaks like yourself, some were afraid to out the homosexual priests.
Others feared for the reputation of the Church.
Neither was right.

But the Church is pressing on to correct its failures; hence the morality clause enforcement for Ms. Hale.

I don't think so Tipsy dear. They are NOT going to investigate lyin O'Brien. Once again they show the world that they are more interested in maintianing their power in the world than actually protecting children.

You seem new here Tipsy and yet you've already show us that you are a low-life troll. You are an internet turd that needs to be flushed. Bye bye.

What astounds me is that you homosexuals are not on the side of the homosexual priests. I assume your anti-Christian mindset compels you to attack the Church as a priority over defending your peers. For example:

BLK, a leading black homosexual publication, defended pedophilia with an article entitled, "Must Men Who Love Boys Be Guilty of Sexual Misconduct?"

San Francisco’s leading homosexual newspaper, The Sentinel, bluntly editorialized, "The love between man and boys is at the foundation of homosexuality."

In 1995, the homosexual magazine Guide stated:

"We can be proud that the gay movement has been home to the few
voices who have had the courage to say out loud that children are
naturally sexual, that they deserve the right to sexual expression with whoever they choose ...[w]e must listen to our prophets. Instead of fearing being labeled pedophiles, we must proudly proclaim that sex is good, including children’s sexuality .... We must do it for the children’s sake."

Riddle me this: You denigrate Boy Scouts of America for disallowing homosexuals into its ranks; however, you denounce the Catholic Church for having allowed them...and for overlooking their natural sexual behaviors?

Now that the Church realizes its mistake and is moving to correct it [hence, Ms. Hale's termination]...you're back to bullying it again?

Not only are you all sexually confused; it is clear you suffer also from multiple personality disorder.

Their 'problem' persists because they're weeding out normal gay people and keeping heterosexual child molesters on the payroll
