Given the ongoing debate about same-sex marriage, it is time I looked at the two Testaments to remind myself why belief is so hard for me to embrace.

There is no god, the bible was simply an instrument used to oppress the weak minded people into behaving and having some kind of moral fortitude. But now, it is completely misread and taught by those very same weak minded individuals craving power and judgement over thoughts and ideas that they themselves are not intelligent enough to understand. If you read deeply enough into the bible, you can gather from it that YOUR god and YOUR satan are one in the same and no different from one-another.

But I can see that wish is not going to be granted.
For the rest, I'm 71yo.
Married 45years coming up.
And that means I'm old enough to know an idiot when I see one.

Ah, straight from the school of creative abandonment.
Well, at least you know two letters.
That's something, I suppose!
Soon we can move on to toilet training.
But I can see that's going to be a stretch.
Perhaps we could just leave him somewhere.
He's not likely to be missed.

Not sure that NoQ isn't just an ephemeral shadow.
You know, the sort that doesn't show up in the mirror.
The only crowd he'd ever be a part of is where mutant zombies convene.

Yeah, once.
I was surprised how much vibration there was.
You don't get that in a car at all.
Nor the train, but that's hardly surprising.
I've been here since April 1971 (from NZ), but I was here for a weekend in late 1965.
It's still the same essentially, laid back, the good life, sun, surf, etc.
And yet it's also totally different.
Up to date, modern, full of vibrant night (and day) life.
But it's getting a touch full for my liking.
It's still a fantastic place though, so easy to live in, so full of a multitude of cultures, great cuisines from every conceivable part of the world, very relaxed moral attitudes (which is a change from those far off days), and then there's the Gay Mardi Gras each February, where the whole inner city is given over to the celebration of homosexuality.
NoQ would be right into it.
If he's ever going to discover that truth he's so worried about, this is the time and place.
He needs to come out and give it a try.
Indulge those secret desires!
Can you imagine it?

Oh, that's right- there is none.
Homofascist Christian haters? You got it wrong. We love those guys. Thanks for sharing your silly little fantasy again David. Come back again some time soon. We love you brother. Peace, good vibes bro.

There doesn't need to be.
One doesn't need a biblical invocation to open ones mouth, and breathe in.

The Golden Gate Bridge is just the same. Most bridges move and make noise.

I always wonder WTF is so good about Judeo-Christian tradition? If David is an example of what that means, I want no part of it.
