Even though she might not feel it, it is certain that many are laughing at her.<quoted text>
That only leaves one alternative. Ridicule.

I decided to Google your favorite, little "definition" of marriage and found that you've been copying and pasting the same convoluted nonsense on other threads. You've been cheating on us! How many other bridges are you trolling under that we don't know about? http://www.topix.com/forum/topstories/TBQ0DHC... http://www.topix.com/forum/city/palos-hills-i... Getting back to responding to your post... 1. Marriage does not need to have a complex definition for the purposes of the government. Each couple has the right to define their relationship in their own unique way. It is private. No one needs to publicly declare the "terms" of their marriage, especially to you. If marriage is "culturally constrained" and "evolutionary," it seems only logical that if our culture accepts ssm as a norm (our government makes it legal), then we have evolved. You can grunt like a neanderthal all you want, but our society *will* evolve without you. 2. How am I redefining anything? Have I tried to "redefine" your marriage? No, of course not. Marriage is essential? Which kind?...under God or by the government? Did Adam and Eve have a marriage ceremony? Who walked Eve down the aisle? The fact is, marriage has not always been about particular defining terms that you favor so much. It was SIMPLY a committed, romantic union of two consenting humans. Heck, there have been oodles of marriages that were arranged and the couple DID NOT consent. Talk about constrained. So, you see, YOU cannot define marriage for other people; you can only define it for yourself and your wife. 3. You have no control over what kind of relationships families make up, so why do you try to devalue them? 4. I never asserted that a couple should be required to produce children. That's what YOU suggest with your arguments. 5. Your "definition" of marriage is not reality. Have you taken your meds today? I heard "Haldol" is an oldie but a goodie. |

You might as well stamp these on her forehead as a warning to other unsuspecting citizens. They are so dead-on, it's scary. |

Judged: 1 1 I went back to the beginning of the Russell Springs thread when she was Yellodog and Pattiecake, and the 'Prove there's a god' thread. That's where it all came from. It was "hallarious" to watch her answer herself in defense of Patty, just like she's doing now. |

Judged: 1 1 Aside from the tragic passing of your partner that is a very good story to hear, as it is pleasing to see that some people do come around when they have learned the facts, rather than disowning their child for life, as I have heard some parents have done. As for not expecting life to end up different than you thought it would, I can attest to similar experiences but not due to death, but one marriage breakup, a very upsetting loss of a second partner, due to her wanting another man, and some downturns in my life due to my earlier mental illnesses which ended my working career much earlier than I could ever have imagined, but having survived that, I now count it as a positive that I had 18 years more than most of "retirement" many years of which I put to good use, that I couldn't have done had I still be working. |

Judged: 1 Don't worry, HL and PLH, I defend myself only to refute what Patty says, as I have no worries at all about what I did, as nothing I did could be construed as illegal, or destructive. The info and the reasons I gave all agencies for contacting them, were to do only with Patty's health and the possible impact that may be having on her mother's care. If she was in Canada though, HL, I might contact our Canadian lawyer, because of all the attacks she has made on you and other gays on this site who is on the warpath against internet hate mongers, and has had some of them successfully put away or punished in some form. I think he would find Patty an interesting case. As I mentioned he also won a threatening case against a Virginia man, but a higher court threw that conviction out. Perhaps he wouldn't bother with Patty though, as after reading her 60,000 posts he would likely see that she is unlikely to be taken seriously by anyone who might otherwise might be affected or influenced by her hate mongering. He might also recognize, as a lawyer, that any good defense attorney would get her off on a mentally incompetent plea. I suspect, I could even represent her and be successful in getting her off on that plea, and I have no legal training or experience at all. |

I think the hate-mongers should be as loud and outrageous as possible. At least you know what they're up to. It's like with children. When they become conspicuously quiet is when you have to worry. Quiet kids burn things with matches. Quiet hate-groups blow things up with bombs. |
