So, What Is It That The Anti-Gay Groups Actually Fear?

What makes hate, well, hate? Given that today is something of a quiet news day, it may be nice to give ourselves a breather and think about some things.

You aren't even attempting to hide who you are now pattiedogyellocake.
The post where you said your mother was dead...a new low even for a good christian woman like you.
is being 'screwy' a commonality of all atheists?
every believer and studier of the bible knows that God's word is 'settled' that knowledge is not exclusive only to pattiecake.

so the irrational one here would indeed be YOU.

and for you to LOWER yourself by saying to the posters of the internet that you are unable to acknowledge posters for who they are instead of pretending they are all one in the same, says little for your character as an adult. You are behaving 'childish'.

Don't stretch the data further than it goes.
You tend to attempt to establish and impose shoulds and oughts upon others based upon some imagined "ideal", rather than upon concrete observation and understanding of what is. That's a very medieval, pre-scientific thought system.
There is nothing 'imagined' when it comes to God or His truth.

The ego of some men, can't allow God in because there is no room in their narrow and selfish hearts. If you can't control it all, you are helpless, and if you can't 'know it all' you are inferior. And that is exacly what we are in comparison to the Almighty God who created us in the first place.

The "DESIGN" within all of nature is 'set' in such that if men are honest with themself, they see it.
they don't try to change it, or bend it to serve unnatural desires.

those points don't apply to me.
but let me respond with a few of my own.
1. You have been on topix for a long time how many believers in God have you successfully pulled away from God with all your devil talk?
2. You are not here to worry about the amt of time anyone else chooses to be here.
3. You engaged in cyber stalking, invasion of someones private life.
4. You can't acknowledge established facts
5. you have openly admitted you have serious mental issues
and lastly,
6. the posts you send are ramblings and often not even relavant to the issues of the thread.
PLUS you refuse to hear what others say to you.
you think you have any room to dictate rules for others? You don't
Let's ask some different questions: Please don't avoid the questions by asking similar questions of me, because that won't work with me.

1) Which one of the following would you prefer that we contact in your area to get you help?

a) The police,
b) Local ambulance service to request you be helped,
c) Any radio station to see if they will carry a story about this thread and the problems certain people have experienced with a particular RS person,
d) Social Services in Louisville Kentucky to see what they have done so far regarding the previous report made by someone on this site a few months ago,
e) The minister of your church
f) The person who called you by phone a week or so ago, which you talked about on here
g) FBI - your activity crosses state borders
h) A local newspaper or newspapers with a letter to their editor requesting they print the letter in their publication that goes to RS citizens.
h) Some of the human rights organizations to report you as a hate monger who attacks and demonizes homosexuals.

This is not to be considered a threat or promise that one or more of these WILL be contacted, UIF, but only a fact finding inquiry to determine which you prefer, should someone here choose to do one of them.

Bottom line: No one cares that you are a believer in God. No one cares that you post as many different people. People do care that you lie about doing so, but then call others here liars, who have not been lying. Some of us do care about the risk to you, or others that you may be near, by doing nothing in order to try to get you help.

Please don't provide any more posts to me denying what posters you are, UIF, as several here do know for sure which names you have been posting on Topix either now or in the past. This can also be proved.

I agree it is no ones business, but the fact still remains, IT IS NOT RIGHT.
some people in this world actually CARE about what is right and wrong boots.
I know you don't from the things you write on here.
but some of us care about things like morality and values and rightness.
so if two people want to risk their health by doing such things that is certainly their right to do.
but when they wind up reaping the negitivities from it, they sure want the tax payers to clean up their messes by funding medical care and research dollars to 'fix' their veneral mishaps don't they?
I think if you are going to engage in anal sex and you rip a whole in the lining of your rectum you ought to bleed to death. Harsh yes, but adaquate justice it is.
<quoted text>
I wonder if Patty realizes that those people she thinks should bleed to death would include a LOT of straight women and men too? I wonder if she also realizes that tax payers don't pay everyone's medical bills. Hmmm...
I wonder if she thinks that people that use a saw irresponsibly and cut their finger off do not deserve medical care. I wonder if she thinks an irresponsible teenager that jumps off a roof to impress their friends and breaks their neck doesn't deserve medical care...
Hmm..
thats whats wrong with you, you wonder about things that are irrelvant. you wonder about patty and she isn't here, or wondering about you......(laughing)

It's not an invasion of privacy if someone offers the information about themselves.

Curious, whom was Isaiah speaking of when He said in Isaiah 9:6
"For unto us a CHILD IS BORN, unto us a SON is given: and the
government shall be upon His shoulder; and His name shall be
called WONDERFUL, Counsellor, THE MIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING
FATHER, THE RPINCE OF PEACE."

I don't go out of my way to get it and I only trust it when a friend I trust has it. I never buy it, my friend shares it.
Even so, I see where you're getting with this, but also remember that a large portion of famous and great artists smoked marijuana for their influence. The Beatles were high a lot of the time, as well as many other great musicians. While I can't come up with any off the top of my head, many artists were high a lot of the time too.
Regarding your comments on how it seems to make people not care abut anything, sometimes people feel that that's a good thing at certain times. For example, my boyfriend got over the death of his grandfather much easier when he got buzzed with pot the day after finding out about the death. It's a form of relaxation that is instilled in someone when they get high, that helps with certain stresses.
While some do abuse it, as some abuse alcohol, it is still a lot healthier to get high than it is to get drunk.
I'm with Booots. There are some very seedy people out there that one may have to become involved with to obtain marijuana. But even in my "experimental days" in high school, not ONCE did I ever see anyone "ruin their lives" or put themselves or anyone else in danger over marijuana. A lot of the potheads I knew back in the day still use it on occassion, at parties, to relax etc. And they live extremely positive and productive lives. These are GOOD people, far from low lives. Some of them are very very close to me which why I tend to get a little defensive over this issue. I don't think it should be illegal. I think it's in the same category, although less harmful, as alcohol and treated as such. It does not fit the bill for an illegal substance. And it is, in fact used medicinally for a variety of reasons. Eveyone's heard of the "munchies." What's one of the biggest problems for a cancer patient suffering through chemotherapy? Nausea and inability to eat. Marijuana is one of the most effective treatments for chemotherapy patients to maintain an appetite. I once knew a man who had a severe spinal chord injury from a plne crash. He was paralyzed from the waist down and still experienced extreme pain in his back and pain in his legs, even though he technically could not feel his legs. The one thing he SWORE could always help his pain management and to control his muscle spasms was marijuana.
Just my 2 cents...

Yes, it is one of those things that we form opinions about that aren't based in very rational thinking. When you go on vacations to certain places you tend to see what some people might call the low lifes, standing around doing nothing, but there is a very strong smell of marijuana (I do recognize its smell) coming from them, and this is usually in places where marijuana is very illegal.
I guess in my case it is a type of irrational prejudice going back to my 'Christian' days when smoking, drinking, swearing and not going to church were, IMO, the 4 really bad things, that I judged people on.
I do have a bit of trouble though, with people, such as my former partner, who will freak if someone lights up a cigarette anywhere near her (as will my current wife though she once smoked) but would sneak off and smoke a joint with a friend we were visiting behind my back, even though she knew I was very strongly opposed to marijuana. Granted people don't inhale as much marijuana in a day as an addicted tobacco smoker, because they would likely become zombies, but still it seems rather odd that they are so opposed to smoking, yet it is okay to smoke marijuana.
That is all just me, though, some bad habits I got into when young, which I demonized people, that I haven't been able to shake yet.
I doubt though I will ever make much of an effort to try to justify marijuana because, IMO, it really still makes me think of hippies, with the straggly unkempt hair, no purpose in life, other than getting high (actually I had a secret admiration for some of their lifestyle).
One of the really great artists that was hopelessly addicted to drugs, though apparently legal drugs, was Johnny Cash. Though his wife got him away from them different times in his life, he really never got over them. His death at a relatively young age likely was partly due to how he abused himself. I suspect he was a cigarette smoker too, which would account for his early death, though I don't know that to be a fact.
Cigarettes did kill a lot of the great actors of the past.
I may have meant to agree with Lacez on my last post...
Regardless, you both make valid points and I agree with you both on in several aspects.
