That is a religious definition though.
The actual definitions differ, though I found through searching the web that you are correct in the definition of sodomy.
Even then, oral sex is still sodomy, and Patty seems to not understand that word she uses all the time.
sorry

I was under the understanding that sodomy is a religious term (incorporated into Law)

I do believe that the definitions I offered are religious, that is in my background.(lol)

1. The identifying element of rape is sex. Force is used to achieve sex. If violence was the focus, there would be no need for sex. That is simple truth that exposes your claim as utter stupidity.

2. I never said they were not.

3. Your last statement exposes you as a ignorant, hateful bigot. Are you proud?

You take about 40 authors, writing over 2,000 years and box them ALL into a perspective of the world during Columbus's time? Really???
Moses was educated in Egypt. Do you know the Egyptian 'view' of the world at that time?
Your only reason to focus on the Bible is to desecrate it in defense of immorality. You WILL look like a idiot if you try to be a theologian.
The subject of the Bible is God and the soul of man. It is not a book about science. The references to science only affirm it's supernatural origin.

It is interesting that in that 'mythology' where Moses received the Law from the Alien, a perfect description of radiation was given (Exodus 33,34).

Please, show me your deep reasoning power by explaining how that got in a fiction book?

Rape is an act of anger, violence, power, and control.
Instead of just saying "assault," things must be categorized into levels of extremity. Usually, when one is raped, they are left more emotionally damaged than someone who was physically assaulted.
It's only meant to make the issue a higher priority than the other types of assault that do damage, yes, but less so.

See, rape is a form of sexual assault, it's still an assault, but "sexual" is the word that categorizes it. Assault in general is an act of anger, violence, power, and control, therefore by being a type of assault, rape is an act of anger, violence, power, and control.

Saying a sexual assault is not an act of anger, violence, power, and control, is saying that physical and mental assaults are neither of those as well.

Do you honestly think that just because someone is horny, they'd go out and just rape someone? If so, you are MUCH dumber than we all originally thought.
