I was a Cub Scout and a Boy Scout. Their anti-gay bigotry is pure hipocrisy on the part of the BSA.

Until they welcome boys of all sexual orientations, NOBODY should support the BSA in any way whatsoever.

And people should object and contact their elected officals and other government officials when teh BSA uses taxpayer-supported facilities.

If you won't let teh KKK use a facility, then why allow the BSA to do so also ?

If the Scouts valued integrity, they wouldn't pursue this false need for discrimination. If they valued honesty, they wouldn't be involved in the very same pedophile-hiding that the Roman Catholic Church is guilty of. When "the end" involves doing what's right, and treating all people with respect, then "the means" are justified. The homophobic attitude that sexual orientation is worth focusing on or good for use as an excuse to exclude is what stinks.

Try LEARNING about the people you slander so freely, instead of railing against the cartoon stereotypes that are fed to you.

This kid wants to raise awareness, and spread a little dignity and respect in the world. You'd THINK that the BSA would want the same thing, instead of drawing lines to divide people, and promoting hate, fear and ignorance.

Canadian Scouts do not have such discriminatory rules, yet are still equal Scouts as far as the World Association is concerned.

Look in the mirror before you start claiming the corner on justifying the means, bigot.

Boy Scouts in the UK also have no problems with gay scouts or adult participants.
