Chicago's Legacy Walk: LGBT History Comes to Halsted
In recognition of October as GLBT History Month, the Board of Directors of the Legacy Project announced that the upcoming dedication of the Legacy Walk will take place on October 11, 2012, the 25th Anniversary Commemoration of National Coming-Out Day.

It should not be focused only on the current Boystown which has only been the center of gay bar life since about 1988 or so. They should be plaquing the home of Henry Gerber; the site of Kitty Sheon's, etc. We need to remember history that dates back before most of us were alive. To me, this project sounds to narrow.
