Homosexuality and human development. Are homophobes the ones who are abnormal?

Human development is a series of changes and discoveries. Our sexual identities come about from many causes all complex and all different from the usual simplistic cause leads to effect fallacy.

Does not say anything we don't already know. Stop focusing on the social correlations of bigotry and more on the biological. Is is nature or nurture. If the latter, when - if at all - does it become so ingrained as to become unalterable. If the former, what do we need to do to get it out of the gene pool?

Key words in this article are narcissistic and adolescent. Homosexuality is clearly caused by arrested development that keeps a person in that adolescent phase of self focus. This article actually indicates that experimentation with same-gender sex in adolescent is an extension of focus on self. Now we understand it. That's not true. It IS "normal" to hate those who are different (look at the past few thousand years of human history, 98% of which is filled with warefare, and the other 2% is spent recovering from, an\or preparing for, te nest round of warefare.

Humans have A GREAT DEAL OF TROUBLE OVERCOMING those irratinal fears and hatreds of one another. The U.N.(and it's predecessor, The League Of Nations), were established to PREVENT war. Look at the ongoing slaugher in Syria, and the U.N. and everyone else, does nothing.

Hatred is the "NORMAL" human condition. The great difficulty is in overcoming that. It's easier to HATE than to LOVE.

If that is what you wish to choose to believe, knock yourself out, but there really isn't a whole lot of scientific evidence to support your self-presumably wise assumptions on the subject. in my own case, my being narcissistic and adolescent isn't the result of my being gay sweetie and it certainly wasn't the cause of it. I'm fifty, I am that damn good and I earned it. Besides, your being narcissistic and adolescent yourself, you should know that is neither the cause of, or always results in homosexuality.

Really? Everyone I know is straight except my boyfriend and I and it was no trouble for me to accept their hetero orientation and relationships. Quite the opposite for them.

I experimented with same-gender partners when I was young, and it was actually never about narcissism. Then, and now, sex for me has been about the other person involved, and what I can do to make them feel good.
