That helps explain the feeling that I've had for a long long time that Friedman was eager to make take on a marriage case for Michigan.

After reading the article, he seems like he is a fair Judge and wanting a trial instead of a summary judgment was a better way to go and it also finally proved what everyone already knew.....that study was done just to harm Gays and Lesbians plus their families!!!

Levy explained that she had contracted to undergo artificial insemination at an Ann Arbor clinic.
She and Johnson, who is African American, had spent hours perusing notebooks that listed the particulars of the clinic’s black sperm donors, hoping to conceive a biracial child who bore a physical resemblance to both women.

Yeah. So F'd up that she's going to Yale. Meanwhile, some people raised in straight families can't qualify for community college.

Yeah, she's so f*cked up she's in her first year at Yale while your application for community college was rejected.

A teacher once told me that it was because they had to cater to so many different groups/types/ethnicities. So much time spent on things other than education. I agreed that might be part of it.

Then you have teachers that can't speak English, the kids complain that they can't understand what they are saying. In 2003 Lowell gave English fluency tests, and then dismissed 3 teachers for failing to prove their proficiency.

They sued, got full back pay, seniority, pension, health benefits, and the right to return to their classrooms. Two SE Asian and a Hispanic.

Back on topic-

The law student is now Judge Levy, the first openly lesbian jurist in the 6th circuit court- confirmed on a 97-0 vote by the Senate this month.

Another voice for equality.

No, made unnaturally like Frankenstein's monster.
Just when you think you've seen every stupid comment possible another one shows up.

Hundreds of thousands of children have been born because sperm banks are available to all kinds of women and their husbands.

You'd know that if you weren't so damned stupid. Or maybe you're just upset because a sperm bank rejected your donation. With good reason I might add, since no one wants stupid children.

Clearly, the child raised by the two lesbians was able to overcome the problems in the public school system. I'm sure that had much to do with the support she received at home.
