There is no difference. They are both slurs that are equally bad.

Please aint no comparison...

Until the day in which over 600 million gays have been killed to the N-word, had their homosexual European history, native tongues and customs cut out from under them and their homelands ravaged, while building whole continent's and countries' economies not seeing a LICK of the fortune they culminated built... aint nobody listenin' to this bull-chxt that they got to say.

Everybody wanna be equal and on the same level as us but yet nobody actually wants to get DOWN and be ACTUALLY be socio-econimically/historicall y-deprived as EQUALLY and on the same level as us. smh.

Gay dudes need to start their own movement and need to quit riding the coat-tails off of ours.

Well the F-Word is a derogatory term for sexual intercourse and the N-Word is a derogatory term for a black human being.

Anymore brilliant questions?

What's the difference? The difference is if you say the N-word in a crowd everyone freaks but no one bats an eye if they hear the F-word.

I highly suggest, with an attitude like yours, you'd be a much better benefit to society if you were back in the cotton fields. Would you please stop whining about the past and try to live in the present? The black community isn't threatened with baseball bats nor becoming an outcast from their family, society and church. It's amazing the one class of people who have struggled to gain equal rights are on the forefront of making sure another segment of society is made out to be second class citizens.

My opinion is that both are slurs. And anyone using either has no class. Whether it's on the street, in a song or HERE.

Yup! JUST as expected.. Let a black person voice their opinion to a gay person... a EUROPEAN gay person.. and they become no different than the intolerant straight European males that they so wish to separate themselves from. smh

THERE's that white man that we all know and love. Gay/Straight.. all the same.. and viciously racist

Wrong F word.... they are referring to the derogatory F word used to refer to gay people. I thought the same thing at first and was trying to figure out how you can compare the two... lol

The Black community is still threatened by racists every day. People STILL get attacked and killed based upon race. I dont think discrimination against gays is cool, but you CANNOT compare it to the institutionalized racism that has existed in this country since its inception. Gay people are not denied jobs, adequate education, housing in certain communities, a living wage etc on a large scale because of the sexual orientation, all things that happen based on race.

What??? It is still legal in many places for gays and lesbians to denied jobs and housing simply due to their sexuality. Sure there are some people who want to attack blacks based on their race but if you compare the two today what the LGBT community goes through is far different and much worse. The black community is not made to be outcasts by society (family, church, etc) and the best example of comparing the plights of the two is to go out in a crowd and scream the "F-word" and then the "N-word" to see exactly how differently they are treated. I hear people say "fag" daily and no one bats an eye but I can't tell you the last time I hear the "n-word" out in a public setting (ie, the beach).

It's pretty simple. They are both derogatory words used by the ignorant and/or uneducated to attempt to promote hatred for either blacks or gay people.

Yes, to insinuate that they're gay and therefore worthy of contempt.

And I say we have yet another homophobe who can't muster up the balls to post under a real log-in. You can call me queer all you what but you're the biggest fag of all on this board and until you learn how to be a man then you need to step back and figure out cowards don't add up to much in this life.

I totally disagree.... ethnic and racial minorities, especially Black people, face FAR more discrimination than gays. I have many gay friends and NONE have ever faced any job, housing, economic or other types of discrimination, while almost every Black person I know has experienced racism at some point in their life.

I think you are being a bit one-sided.

Gays do get attacked and killed.
Gays are denied jobs.

There is adequate education for all people.
Housing in certain communities is a choice whether it's personal or due to finances.
I truly do not see a wage problem.

Diversity is one of the biggest issues with corporations today. They are very careful to ensure everyone is treated equal.

Whether the excesses of the past few days are catching up with you or you're feeling drained for other reasons, you need as much rest as possible today. Once you get tired, your defenses will be down and you'll start to fret about whatever is currently nagging away at the back of your mind. You're also concerned about the welfare of a certain person, which doesn't help.
