Which law is the better though? Local or federal? Should one government body truly have the power over each state? That would be tyranny. Consider than one US state is about the size of the average European country, we're huge, this country is massive, the federal government is not really a good thing in most cases.

But this is an excellent time to change federal law. Eliminate the entire DEA and call it austerity/smaller government. Who could possibly object?

That's the Constitution, baby. I'd hate to be put into a position where I'd have to preserve, protect and defend it against YOU.

Constitutions are not always correct, that's why there are so many amendments.

In this case, you are advocating for a return to confederation.

Will you guys be wearing the Spring butternut collection this time too?

I just want to be sure I'm firing at the right side.

Um, explain this assertion of yours as it makes little sense nor has any connection to anything I have stated.

You idiots stopped showing your hatred because of my photo, so I saw no reason to bother for a bit. Don't worry, you'll have more chances to post your hatred later, because comments like this make my job in real life a lot easier.

I feel the same with abortion and gay rights. It should be a state law not a federal one. Agree or disagree? What is the line?

Abortion should be a personal choice, period.

Equal rights for all is the only correct path and should be everywhere.

There should be no reason such things should be problems anyway.

Yet you ignore the fact that people believe that life begins at conception. No personal choice for the baby. It should be a states right to protect the unborn. If you want an abortion in a state that prohibits it then take a Greyhound and get one in another state.

Some people believe that, but science does not support it. I care not for taking the responsibility in making the decision for another person, that's their personal responsibility, not anyone else.
