In my opinion it is Bryan Fisher and his merry thugs of Evangelistic Fundamentalist who are the bullies........they want EVERYONE to believe as they do and want their brand of Religion to be the Religion of this Nation.......the CDC DOESN'T know exactly how many folks identify as Gay, Lesbian or even Bisexual.........in fact even the Census DOESN'T know how many folks in this Country identify as Gay, Lesbian or Bisexual and we're suppose to believe that the CDC does........just another pathetic attack by Bryan and his merry thugs!!!

ahh the Gospel according to Bryan Fischer. "Turn to MY God" or you're doomed.

How refreshing. How original.

Here's the thing Bryan. When I came out is also when I finally let God take control of my life. I see no reason to turn my life over to you.

Unlike Bryan Fischer; GAYS follow the golden rule
.
When Bryan stops bullying GAYS; he won't be bullied in return
.
Know what I mean; Vern?

The American Family Association claims 500,000 members. The US population is estimated at 317 million. That means the AFA makes up less than 2 tenths of 1 percent of the United States population.

Bryan, bubulah, kiss my rosy red buttocks, you silly freak.

And then have a nice day.

The survey did not just declare that. The survey if properly read and quoted foregrounded the difficulties in gathering the correct data.

However, if anti rational, sexually sick, fundie bigots are the ones who feel victimized by educated persons who don't abide bigotry then that's all to the good.

But don't you love the irony of a former pro wrestler claiming sissies are bullying him and 'masculine' acting women intimidate him?

It's always puzzled me that people like him spend so much time thinking about what you or I can do in bed and thinking that we have some super power that can destroy society.

Well, I didn't know about his background as a pro-wrestler........then why would he EVER feel bullied? Seems to me that poor Bryan has gotten his Evangelistic underwear all knotted up........sad, so sad!!!

I'm not one of those people who likes to immediately accuse the virulently anti-gay of being closet cases themselves... but Bryan Fischer certainly fits the profile of a self-hating closet case who just hasn't been caught yet with a rent boy or toe tapping in an airport bathroom stall or something.... yet...

People who devote this much time and energy to hating on gays are likely covering up their own shame. It is idiotic hateful religious crap that makes them feel shame and project it onto others.

It is a powerful resentment toward those who are NOT closeted or ashamed, but happily OUT.

But it's been pointed out that people like Fischer and groups like American Family Association have in the long run done more to help further LGBT rights than harm.. but they certainly can still do harm if more people are taught to believe that God hates them for not being heterosexual.

If you think about the outrageous showmanship of the antagonists in professional wrestling then Bryan Fischer's rhetoric in his new role as evilgelical strumpet boy, imo, begins to make a kind of sense...show business sense.

The results really upset Fischer, who said he is sick and tired of the LGBT community bullying him and his friends.
According to Right Wing Watch, Fischer took to his Focal Point radio show this week and said he can't believe that Americans are allowing themselves to be forced into accepting homosexuality by a "tiny little minority" of belligerent bullies.
"They are belligerent, they are intolerant, they are bullies," Fischer said. "And we have been meekly capitulating to this tiny little cluster of belligerent bullies now for a couple of decades and it's time that we stop with all of that!"
He went on to say: "It's time up and say...'We love you, we care for you, we think you're capable of better lifestyle choices than homosexual behavior. This is sexual deviancy; we are not going to change our mind on that...[Homosexuality] is abnormal. God said that from the beginning, he's not going to change his mind.'"
Fischer also suggested LGBT people "turn yourself over to God."
He continued his tirade and said: "It's almost comical. that we have allowed these people to have so much power in our culture where they can force their deviant lifestyle into the public sphere and compel so many sectors of society to recognize this and to celebrate it as some kind of normal lifestyle."

Exactly what did Bryan Fisher say that was spot on? The fact is he is a hateful bigot who believes that EVERYONE should believe as he does and if he doesn't get his way, then his organization will bully folks UNTIL they do....he is no different than Phelps was!!

I think that is a mistake. I do not believe than any normal heterosexual can be anti-gay. The faults we see in others are a reflection of our own. If a straight man doesn't like a gay person it is because of something other than his homosexuality something he would not like in a straight person. The biggest enemy to gay people are these self loathing closet cases.

I'm not one to actually think they're all closet cases, either. But there *IS* something that they recognize inside themselves, some little flicker of same-sex attraction, some sexual obsession with someone they know they can't have,*something* that enables them to be so obsessed with their anti-gay hate. Blindly obsessed to their own actions.

I've said this for decades now. Straight people are not obsessed with gay sex, just as gay people are not obsessed with straight sex. I am a Kinsey 6-3/4 (on a scale of 1 to 6). I never think about straight people getting it on. I hold nothing against them or their behaviour--it's just not of interest to me. They should have fun and enjoy themselves doing whatever it is they enjoy doing. The straight people I know feel exactly the same about gay sex--it's not problem, it's just not for them. Cool!

So when I see someone that eats, breathes, sleeps, and obsesses 24/7/365 about sex that other people are engaging in.... THAT person is reacting to something inside them that they hate. It simply doesn't make any sense to exhibit such hate and invest so much effort into pursuing something that in no way affects them. It just doesn't add up any other way.

Case in point, sooner or later *ALL* the high-profile male homophobes end up getting caught with a dick in their mouth at some point. All the high-profile female homophobes generally turn out to be married to a gay man, which has got to piss them off royally!(I'm thinking Anita Bryant and Michele Bachmann here, but there are dozens more....)
