Scalia is a Roman Catholic, so his opinions are not a surprise.

Hey Scalia, gays & lesbians have BEEN a minority since the beginning of time.

And it IS your job to protect the rights of ALL minorities- as well a majorities- under the constitution.

If you can't do your job, then you should STEP DOWN NOW!!!

Too bad that religion seems to wipe out some people's ability to think. I am sure there are many Catholics that question their church's "infallibility"; it's a shame Scalia isn't one of them. He should recuse himself from these cases. It would be nice if he could be impeached for failure to separate his religion from affairs of the state.

I'm sure I'm going to catch a LOT of flak for the following statement, but here goes: "I do NOT believe that Roman Catholics should be on the courts as I do NOT believe they can separate their Roman Catholicism from civil law. And I think that Scalia demonstrates my contention well."

And while the fact is that me being a church-going devout Protestant, born and raised, and extremely anti-Catholic, may have something to do with my feelings on this, I do not apologize for it.

What special rights did the courts create when they made SSM legal?

Justice Scalia can never name any of them. Neither can Brian G!
