And Russia's naked aggression in Crimea and Ukraine, reminiscent of Hitler's naked aggression against Austria and Czechoslovakia, will not be opposed by the U.S. nor it's European allies.

In 1939, the Russians invaded Poland. In 1940, the Russians invaded Finland. In 1956, the Russians invaded Hungary. In 1968, the Russians invaded Czechoslovakia. In 1979, the Russians invaded Afghanistan. In 1994, the Russians invaded Georgia. In 2014, the Russians invaded Ukraine.

If we don't stand up them militarily NOW, as DEMOCRATIC President Kennedy did, the Russians WILL NOT STOP invading other countries. Why should they ? We have a proven track record of doing NOTHING when they invade other countries. Great Britain and France went to war over the invasion of Poland in 1939. We should do no less over the invasion of Ukraine.

This is ALL The Obamaniac's fault.

No, it's Bush's fault for not doing whatever insane thing you want Obama to do now when Putin went to war against Georgia.

By your "logic."

It's the fault of the U.S. and it's European allies for not preventing it when they could have. When has the U.S. and it's European allies EVER stood up to Russia when it has invaded other countries ? NEVER ! So why should they not continue doing so since they know there are obviously no consequences ???

There was the entire Cold War, but in addition the US opposed a Soviet invasion of Afghanistan by funding and equipping a bunch of religious fanatics there....

And we know how that worked out for everyone.

Some of us think that American forces should protect American interests, not answer distress calls from countries on different continents. That's what got American into every war in the last century.

I'm not saying it's never justified to work with our allies. But Ukraine isn't exactly a US ally. Putin is trying to put back together the old USSR, one country at a time. The old USSR fell of its own weight. So will Putin's.

Just proves that Russia is a lawless backwater. This will certainly hurt their standing in the civilized world. Who would want to go there? Oh, yeah, all our right wing bigots. Well, we won't miss you. In fact, the U.S. will be a much better place without you. Start packing.

You conveniently refuse to mention that the U.S.A. Great Britain, and Russia all signed a LEGALLY BINDING TREAT GUARANTEEING UKRAINE'S BORDERS AS INVIOLABLE in exchange for Ukraine giving up all of it's nuclear weapons. Ukraine fulfilled it's obligation of this treaty. The U.S.A., Great Britain, and Russia, have violated the treaty. Because of Russia's invasion and ongoing occupation of Ukraine, some Ukrainian lawmakers are now publicly saying that it was a huge mistake for Ukraine to give up it;s nuclear weapons.

Why is Putin's invasions of Georgia and Ukraine different from Hitler's invasions of Austria, and Hitler's and Stalin's invasion of Poland which directly caused World War II ? And since the west refuses to do anything to prevent these invasions and occupations, what is there to stop Putin from doing it again, and from Putin's point of view. why should he not continue to invade and occupy other countries ?

If we went to war to stop Hitler from invading and occupying other countries, then that was a huge mistake on our part, because we are clearly not reacting the same way when Putin does exactly the same thing.

Or do you favor the abolishment of NATO ?

Remember that DEMOCRATIC President Kennedy nearly went to war with Russia over a handful of missiles in another country, and the placement of those missiles there did not violate any treaties at all. And submarines carrying ballistic missiles regularly cruise much closer to our coasts than the distance was to those missiles in Cuba.

Was Kennedy crazy and reckless for nearly gong to war over those missiles ?

At least Kennedy stood up to the Russians, something our socialist Obamaniac will never do, because he too misses the old communist regime in the old former Soviet Union. The Obamaniac is an old-time socialist. It's as simple as that. Witness his "Joseph Stalin Memorial Salt Mine Healthcare Plan" which he proudly runs around the country calling "OBAMAIDON'TCARE".

The Obamaniac is an EVIL man.

There's been discussion of bringing Ukraine into NATO, of course. It has energy resources. The US has covertly been meddling there for years, as it has been in Georgia and the 'Stans and just about everywhere else on the globe you can name, imo. Ukraine just had a coup in which more anti Russian, unelected, some say anti Semitic and fascist elements overthrew an elected, more pro Russian government. That is what precipitated Russia's moves.

Naturally none of this is apparent in the mass media or to Americans. And naturally none of this defends Putin or his policies. It's dealing in reality, however.

You're an apologist for Putin. Which country would you like him to invade next and occupy ?

And once again the hypocrisy of Democrats and libs is shown when it comes to free speech because when they don't like what is being said, they just shout you down and resort to name-calling. Josef Stalin and The Obamaniac are PROUD of you!:)

LOL, if only. Then there wouldn't be the situation there is now in Russia.
It all an extension of their propoganda laws. If the police investigate and fin it was a hate crime then that will get publicity of sorts and they can't have that. Besides that, they've had the 'ignore it and it'll go away' unofficial policy for a long time

Oh pedo, which country would you like the US to invade next?

Be specific, you stupid right wing racist: What should the US do about Ukraine now? Be specific.

And of course the US fomented the whole mess to begin with, just as it did with Georgia, and to a large extent, Syria. And Egypt. And Libya. And Iraq. And Afghanistan. And so on.

Oh, and pos, don't whine about name calling while you invoke Stalin to insult people yourself. It suggests you're insane.
