The National Library Board, which runs 26 public libraries in Singapore, pulled from the shelves and said it would "pulp" the copies of three titles, citing complaints their content goes against Singapore's family values.

Spot on!
Books like this are made for the sole purpose of brainwashing and indoctrinating young children into the homosexual lifestyle. Singapore is right to destroy them.

You cannot convince anyone in a million years that looking at a BOOK will determine a person's sexual orientation. You are a complete idiot for believing it.

Regardless, you cannot deny that children are being subjected to an onslaught of homosexual propaganda and indecent homosexual material in schools.

This is about a burgeoning lgbt rights movement in Singapore, which is now being fought by the usual fundies in alliance with muslims.(Polygamy is permitted there as part of the muslim influence, but it's sort of like applying for a zoning abatement. And it means one man with multiple wives, obviously, never one woman taking multiple husbands...as you'd expect from sick, misogynistic religionists.)

"A showdown between Singapore’s religious conservatives and a growing gay-rights movement is shaping up ahead of a weekend rally celebrating sexual diversity in the city-state.

"The annual Pink Dot gathering will be held on Saturday at a downtown park — the only place where demonstrations are permitted — with organisers aiming to top last year’s record turnout of more than 20,000 people.

"The carnival-like rally draws a diverse array of straight and gay participants decked out in bright pink attire including hats and even facial hair dyed in the colour organisers picked to represent the freedom to love.

"The term 'Pink Dot' is a play on Singapore’s nickname —“The Little Red Dot” on the world map.

"Pink Dot has been held annually since 2009...."

Good idea!
We can put pink dots on gay erotic books so people will know its about homoes and not take it home where children will find them and get traumatized.

It's a slippery slope. After gay books comes gay porno flicks. After gay porno comes sodomy.

You would know about that from your own experience as a leading closet case.

Unfortunately for your bizarre little forumula, "sodomy" is something heterosexuals engage in all the time, too, and they didn't get into from gay porn.

You're merely disturbed.

These are the same books that they were forcing on families in California and Massachusetts. Let gay parents buy them for their kids. They shouldn't be used as tools in a public elementary schools to control the thoughts and behavior of other people's children.

Well, then we should say the same thing about judeo xstain books in libraries.

Let "religious" parents buy books for their kids. Keep the abrahamic brainwashing out of libraries.

You're sick is all. You've never had a valid point once in your life.
