Sort of off the subject, but not too far, the only thing that the government doesn't seem to regulate, is who can raise our future. You can be dumber than a post, meaner than a junk-yard dog, high on drugs, bent on a life of crime, and still be a parent. No training, no requirements, nothing needed but the sperm and the egg. And we defend this right as we bury broken little bodies.
I forget where I heard it, but someone said, "you need a license to own a dog, but any asshole can be a parent". BTW, I'm still curious. Why did you call me "evil" earlier in response to that post? I'm still scratching my head over that one. If I deserved it please point it out to me.

Blah, blah, blah. God this, God that. Start thinking for yourself for a change. The Salem Witch Trials have started again. Soon it will be illegal to have brown hair.

And this is supposed to be bad news?

Give me a break. We need an exodus of gays and lesbians from Minnesota, and a whole lot of other types of liberals too!!!!

And when the place is cleaned up, you better believe it will attract a whole new group of people, people who long for a cleaned up place to live, and raise their children.

They just won't have good jobs.

Businesses need to be competitive in the world market today. They need to be able to hire the best and the brightest. They suffer a competitive disadvantage in a state where they can't provide benefits to gay and lesbian employees. Businesses that can, will leave Minnesota. It's happening elsewhere. Your universities will not be able to move, though, and, since they'll be at a competitive disadvantage for both faculty and students, they will offer a substandard education only to locals.

So you say you want more than gays and lesbians to leave Minnesota? That's good, because ultimately you will not be able to support the current number of residents, so many more will be forced to leave.

You and your family, if any, will face a reduced standard of living, as will everyone around you. Have you considered that if your plan backfires, your neighbors will know whom to blame? Or are you one of those wacky "survivalists" anyhow?

Gay marriage is one of the many main reasons that Roman fell. All long lasting civilzations are built on Judeo-christian ideas and gay marriage is not one of them.

The longest lasting civilization on earth is China. No judeo-christianity there until the last 150 of thousands upon thousands of years, and still not very much. Your lies about history here didn't help your gay-hate cause here.

The reason the Roma Empire fell is that it was over-extended. You think differently? Prove it!

Don't like gay marriage? Don't marry a member of your own sex. Just don't think you will prevent us from gaining full equality. Face it--you might post hate speech here, but if you told your family, friends (if any) and coworkers (again, if any) what you posted here, you'd be ostracized. You might win a battle or two, but we won the war when over 50% of Americans said gay and lesbian Americans should have full equality.

You folks need to leave these poor gays alone.
Now let Satan go about his business filling hell to capacity.
You must not forget that eternity is a long time and once Christ returns and establishes his new kingdom, then Satan is out of business.
As we approach the last days Satan has to work overtime.
Its kind of like stocking up firewood for a long winter.
Suggestion: Hold your breath...don't come up for air until the second coming. Afterall, it's gonna hapen any minute, right?

Dupe...

Oh God....your ignorance is astounding! Gay marriage caused the fall of Rome?! The demise of the Ming dynasty? The destruction of ancient Egypt? All of them "long lasting"...none of them "judeo-christian".

Idiots like you are like a cancer...you're this country's real sickness.

Really? When did this happen? I work in politics and am a country commissioner for (unsaid) California Country and I knew nothing of this 50%... hmm... seems untrue. Can't even find a shred of it on the internet either.

Hate much? My suggestion is if you don't like America's people, don't agree with their beliefs, perhaps you should move to a more pro-your agenda country.

Last I checked, marriage was not a privilege reserved for Christians alone, so God has nothing to do with it.

If we allow people to cut steak with knives..then what's going to happen next? People stabbing people in the grocery store line? Please. Next? That is happening right now! Right in NYC, a man named Tyler Peterson, ever heard of him? Look him up!
There are moral and ethical standards, such as informed consent and harm, that would militate against human-animal marriage. How would the animal consent to the marriage? In case you don't know animals can be extremely intelligent, almost as much as humans! Bees have been trained to attack people that have bombs in their clothing! If a bee can be trained to find a bomb, why couldnÂ’t it be trained to consent to marriage?
But of course this is so obvious that you must be childish or thoughtless to write as you do. Please think ahead before you embarrass yourself further.
I find this last paragraph funny; "but of course this is so obvious..." What is so obvious? Is it because she has an opinion that you do not agree with and you feel the need to "lash out" to defend yourself against something? Also, what do you mean by "thoughtless?" By taking an analytic approach to each of these posts I find yours to be childish and thoughtless. You mention that the author should think ahead before she embarrasses herself further. I am going to leave it at that...
