I applaud and commend Governor Christie for trying to keep some common decency in his state.

How is denying equal rights "common decency"?

And yet the idiots in New Jersey will reelect this fat buffoon anyways. It's doubtful he'll survive a 2nd term.

Most likely the courts are going to overturn the ban and let Christie & the legislature off the hook. Then they can all blame the "activist judges".

Bigotry has nothing to do with "commom Decency" and that's all anti-gay stances are, bigotry.

I will not subject this forum to the viciousness of my negative opinion of this individual.

I will say this.

In a world that makes sense, he should have *DESTROYED* his any chance of becoming president the day he made that veto.

On that very day.

If not, people need to stop telling me to be "proud" of a country that is full of *expletive deleted*. YOU are proud of that sort of thing? Well, I am not and I will n-e-v-e-r be, end of discussion.

If the world is working correctly, this guy has lost any chance at the presidency,*EVER*.

No matter how he tries to weasel out of this, the public needs to be reminded relentlessly. It'll be easy to annoy christie himself with that; that's exactly the type of thing that makes him "accidentally" open his big fat mouth. He needs to be dogged by it like a pariah who has absolutely no business in any office ... ever again.

Now that's a good plan.

I applaud people who register and tell the truth, neither of which you are brave enough to do, little cowardly liar.

The momentum for equality is now unstoppable, it would suck to be a bigot in today's world, no one is listening to their lies anymore.

It's oxymoronic ... just like "common sense".

Yep. And we all know the definition of an "activist judge", right? "Any judge that rules in a way that an idiot with no comprehension of the constitution or our system of government doesn't like."

I wonder if the day will ever come when those idiots will start to realize that simply using the terms "activist judge" and "legislating from the bench" are proof positive that the person using them is completely clueless about basic 8th grade Civics lessons.

I guess that means Scalia & Roberts are now "activist justices".....

The only activity Scaly-ia enjoys is activating a fork. I'm sure his robes have had to be let out several times in the past years.

He will probably help the plan.

What is happening now is *nothing* like what's gonna happen if he announces intentions to run for the presidency.

He may actually still get it; you can't control every vote (and, if what some say is true, the votes don't even really matter; others are pulling the strings).

But what's fascinating is, you CANNOT control public perception much anymore; it backfires all the time now, and that can accrue to the benefit of, say, the pro-gay.
