Judged: 1 1 1 I hear they are going to come out with another movie "Hostel 3" to show just how sick in the head the SLOWvaks are. In "Hostel 2" they had the great SLOWvak actor Milan Knazko in it because he knows all about SLOWvaks kidnapping people and then eating them alive like in "Hostel 2". |

Judged: 1 1 1 That's a good question Dumb SLOW-VAK because I still can't figure out if us backward barbarian SLOW-VAKS are smarter then apes. I hope your sex with the ape was good. I know SLOWvak Slovaks enjoy that very much. I like to kill people just like in the movie "Hostel 2". What do you want from us primitive SLOWvaks? |

Judged: 1 1 1 Most of them are not too physically attractive. They go bald early - my theory is that most of the 30-somethings got irradiated by Chernobyl. I only have experience with big-city boys, so this is only from this sample group: They tend to more intellectual than American guys, and less into sports. More of them are smokers, they tend to drink booze little more. Just like American guys, most of them are mama's boys and will never take your side. Not particularly skilled lovers, about average, and if you throw in the catholic upbringing, you get a dependable if not slightly boring product. They do have big hearts and open minds, though and make good companions. Sorry if I offended anyone, but that is my experience. I would not date another Polish guy, unless he was a definite exception to this. regards anna |

Judged: 1 1 1 Homosexuality appeared early in Polish history: Boleslaw the Bold (1076 -1079) was accused of sodomy by the medieval historian Jan Dlugosz. Dlugosz also condemned Wladyslaw IV (1434-1444), who led a crusade against the Turks and died at the Battle of Varna. Dlugosz attributed the Christian defeat to the king's lying with a man before the decisive battle.(He is the only crusader-king not canonized.) During the eighteenth century, Poland was affected by the fluid attitude toward sexuality that was favored by the Enlightenment's tolerance and secularism. Poland's last king, Stanislaw Augustus (1764-1795), was said to have slept with the British ambassador in St. Petersburg, where he was employed as the ambassador's secretary. it must be hard to be a polak these days, isnīt it ? |

Judged: 1 Its much harder being a SLOWvak these days. There are some days I just want to jump out of a window because of my SLOWvak brain. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Warsaw's gay and gay-friendly venues: Bars and Clubs Tomba Tomba: ul. Brzozowa 37 Tomba Tomba is probably the most popular gay venue in Warsaw, and we have a hunch why: it might have something to do with the giant jacuzzi in the cellar, where complete strangers tend to climb in (often naked) and enjoy a few drinks. Though the Polish government has tried to shut it down numerous times, luckily Tomba has survived and continues to prosper. Keep an eye out for special events. Rasko: ul. Krochmalna 32a A club known for its warm atmosphere and clientele (not to mention the wild decor and wall paintings), Rasko is a laid-back place to have a few drinks and occasionally enjoy a drag queen show. Utopia: ul. Jasna 1 A club for (mostly) men with one of the toughest door policies in town, Utopia is a heaven of gorgeous faces, equally smart decor, and some of the best DJs that keep the party going, not to mention a VIP room. Klub Paradise: ul. Wawelska 5 Paradise is one of the most popular dance clubs, jamming dance music all night and with a large outdoor area open in the summer. It's a bit out of the centre, but reachable by bus or taxi. Toro: Marszalkowska 3/5 Another one of Warsaw's most popular gay bars, Toro hosts frequent events like disco parties and shows which last all night. Barbie Bar: ul. Zurawia 6/12 It's a bit hard to find (the entrance to the bar is behind the building) but once you're in you'll find a friendly club with good music and laid-back people. Fantom Club: ul. Bracka 20a Yet another hard to find spot, Fantom is a club and sauna for men only, with dark rooms, video rooms, and themed parties on Sundays. Przychodnia: ul. Prozna 8 Similar to Fantom above, Przychodnia ("Clinic") is a bar and sex club for men. Kokon: ul. Brzozowa 37 Kokon is an energetic bar with a small dance floor and generally diverse crowd. Galeria: Plac Mirowski 1 The occasional drag queen shows make this little bar worth coming to. Lodi Dodi: ul. Wilcza 23 This small bar in the very centre of the city now has a cinema and darkroom downstairs. Bastylia: ul. Mokotowska 17 Small gay-friendly cafe Accommodation and Tours Friends Guest House: ul. Sienkiewicza +36 (309) 323334 gaystay.net/Friends/Warsaw/ Friends Guest House, also with a location in Krakow, was the first gay owned and operated guest house in Poland, and is still the only one in Warsaw. The guest house has three rooms in one building located right in the very centre of the city, close to the Central Train Station, and a stone's throw from stores, cafes, and the Old Town. Gay Warsaw Tour: From the people at Warsaw Tours: www.tours-warsaw.com A gay tour of Warsaw that not only takes you to the best clubs, but also treats you to a day of spas, sightseeing, and a chance to meet local activists. hope you enjoy. |
