The old electrician is still convinced women were meant to live with men & vice-versa.
Poofters are for America not for normal thinking folks around here.

Mr. Walesa, being a male in a predominately conservative Catholic country, fails to see the life of privilege he enjoyed, even under communist rule.

While I still respect what the man accomplished, I have lost all respect for him as a person.

That the "leader" of the polish pro-democracy movement can publicly state that in a democracy minorities should accept their place, and should even have to sit in a separate area shows that his idea of "democracy" is laughable at best.

He has indeed tarnished the legacy of his award for the Nobel Peace Prize and the prize in general. I think the Nobel Committee should rescind their award.

He has not tarnished anything.
He only spoke just like any normal man who does not agree with poofters´ role in normal society.

While I'm sure many politicians in the UK share his views, it's a sign of his lack of political sensitivity to be so outspoken about them. Then again he didn't get where he is today by keeping his mouth shut about his opinions or the most articulate of men...

in Poland they seem to be taking the "drop the frog into boiling water" route to changing opinions about homosexuality, abortion, atheism, racism etc.

In most of the world's societies, most have mixed views on this subject or have set views. The man was just expressing his views. However being a high profile figure, his political acumen was not in compliance with the new "political Correctness". However, he did lay down his personal views, and he has the right to do so.

America does not want him. Send him to France or other countries that would treat him better. But, he could settle with Sunshine in San Francisco. That is a poofter settlement in which he would survive quite well.

Seriously? I just did like 30 seconds of on line research and learned quite a bit about Atlantic City.

In the 50's Atlantic City had a very active gay life, 15 years before Stonewall. By 1978 when gambling began, and then Trump's invasion of mega casinos, the gay interest dried up...that is UNTIL 2007 when New Jersey began allowing gay partners. The business people in AC began to smell pink dollars and NOW it is a destination. Why not? Easy access to New York and Phillie. Fun and accepting.

I found that at least 20 major hotels, and not just bed and breakfasts, are highly gay friendly, I mean like Harrah's and Trumps and all the other big places.

I found at least 25 gay restaurants and about that many gay bars also in AC. one is right on the Boardwalk.

Not to discount the many other gay friendly amenities. There's even a gay beach at New Hampshire Ave. Do you know where that is?

so, remove the mote from your own eye, Cletus, before you claim other towns to be gay havens. We are now EVERYWHERE and there is nothing you can do about it, but huddle in your studio apartment and glare at your view of the brick wall. I may give Atlantic City a visit now! See ya as I spend my pink dollars and watch you sweep the floor after I leave your minimum wage jobsite.

Haha!! Thank god I do not live in A/C. Keep your affairs private, no problem. Flaunt it and you get problems.
As to my living conditions, No need to huddle in a studio apartment, sweetie. I have a great view and great hetrosexual life.
But please do visit Atlantic City and spend your money. The more you spend, the more cash I make, and the less taxes I pay.
