Crazy Baptist wrote: <quoted text> Look, I can concure that I am not the leading authority on all things gay. I am sure that there are some absolutly brilliant people out there with all kinds of knowledge concerning certain topics written in the Holy Written Word of God. But that does not negate the facts here now does it. The facts are that the bible condemns sexual imorality on any level. (1) prostitution (2) promiscuity (3) adultery And yes (4) homosexuality Now you can either go into some long debate with me over whether or not it is permissible by God or if He sees it as a sin. Or, you can just read for yourself what the bible (yes the ones translated into our language) says. The following verses are not encrypted, they are not parables, they just simply say what they say. Leviticus 18:22 'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable. Leviticus 20:13 'If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads. Both of those were very clear. You can confuse the meaning all you want. You can say that the translation was incorrect, you can say that is not the way the passage is to be interpreted, but the simple fact is, IT SAYS DO NOT DO IT. CB They are not honest translations, but rather tendentious mistranslations. Only you are unable to tell the difference. You think King James was G-d. Look, no one is expert on everything, I certainly am not. Your hypocrisy comes from pretending you know a subject when you clearly don't. It threatens your masculinity. So typical of the threatened closet case.

I am a Christian a follower of Jesus. We are not bound by the Laws of Moses. They were weak, like you. Hebrews 7:18 The former regulation is set aside because it was WEAK and USELESS. Hebrews 7:19 For the law made NOTHING perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was WEAK through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh. You stone me? Now that's a laugh. Go polish your bald head little girly man. CB Why don'r I invite some of my IDF buds over to your place, and you can tell them how weak Jews are?

Jesus is at the movies and would appreciate folks not invoking him while he is trying to get a weekend in here. Seriously, give Jesus a break. He must be so over hearing about your arguments.

However many ribs Adam was born with, that is how many his children would have.(Well, when coupled with Eve's genes and ignoring the posibility of random mutations.) You see, I could cut off both of your legs mid-thigh, fuse your elbows so that your arms do not bend, stretch your neck an extra six inches, and take out every other rib in your chest, and any children that you have afterwards would still look normal. Though you missed it, that was my point. If Adam had been made with a mutation so he was minus a rib or had an extra one, his descendents would have been born natually except, when the rare mutation happened.

Oh, little Miss HappilyCelibateinChrist, I hope your very bitter journey which you think sounds loving to others, ends soon, with you coming back to a more reasoned place and begin to enjoy intimacy with another man. Seriously, most sane adults never take someone like you serious as you haven't been loved, touched or brought into the family of humans by connecting with someone OTHER than yourself. Yep, you are the one who stands outside the circle. By your own choice. That will never change you one iota in your standing in the Great Creator's eyes. Ya are who you are. So, if you are afraid of intimacy, belly up to the bar and just say so. Otherwise, you look foolish. And, when was the last time you got laid?

The Golem wrote.... #1. You're not speaking to the question. #1a. Actually I did. I said I didn't believe there were people before Adam which was your main question. What I did was to explain that I believed there were people with Adam right after his and Eve's creation in the Garden of Eden though it doesn't say that. Just as it doesn't say there were people created before Adam was created. But my theory has more evidence then your's when just using the Bible for a source. #2. You had suggesterd that Adam was a mutant, in having an extra rib. #2a. I didn't suggest that Adam was a mutant. That is what you said you think I said and you are wrong and incorrect. Once again you did not read what I wrote. Like other things you read, you take what you want it to mean or not mean and accept or not accept what has actually been written. I said under the pondering of SPECULATION it was a POSSIBILITY that Adam could have been made with a mutation causing him to have an extra rib or even maybe to be missing a rib. That is what I said. #3. Now a mutant or creature with a mutation is an incorrect copy, genetically, of the original. This is not a moral issue, just a genetic one. If Adam's DNA was an incorrect copy of his parents then you are saying that Adam had parents and wasn't either the first human, that G-d created an incorrect copy and that Genesis is not to be believed. Are you sure you want to go there? #3a. God can do anything he wants. That is why he is God. God did create us with various genetic mutations that cause gigantism, dwarfism, extra organs, missing organisms, extra limbs, missing limbs, Siamese twins, albino-ism, etc. That is a fact. BUT, BUT, Adam did not have to have a parent to have a genetic mutation. Maybe God made Adam with genetic mutation genes to be passed down through his generations to provide challenges for us for God's own purposes. The fact that humans are subjected to a wide variety of genetic mutations actually prove that to be more then a theory. As you said, genetic mutations would not be a moral issue. 4. Further, doesn't your argument that there were other people in the Garden, although they are never mentioned, rather defeat your argument that homosexuality is not permitted because it is not mentioned in Leviticus? You have just destroyed your own claim that two books of the Torah are reliable. 4a. There is possible evidence for my theory, that others were created in the Garden of Eden AFTER Adam and Eve were created, yes, that is a actual theory many believe because of what the Bible states about polygamy. But it doesn't defeat anything about two men laying together like a man and woman would lay together as what we define as male homosexuality. Leviticus does mention it. Leviticus does forbid it. That is a fact of your religion. You may slice and dice how it states it and how it is or is not applicable but it does warn against two men doing as a male and female would do it. That is a fact of your religious doctrine.

You know, I was replying to the fact that you said the bible only says from his side. I provided you with scripture and all the different translations that said rib. Since you are better learned in the scriptures than I could you show me where you found it to say side please? CB You are right, it does seem to say "rib" - I'm not quite sure where I got that it said "side" - I was going by memory and didn't look it up to double check. My mistake.
