I commend Congressman Lincoln Davis for his brave comment and stance. This is so true. Now that the topic of adultery and divorce has come to play, why are the republicans causing a stir? and demanding an apology at that. Aren't they for family values? By lambasting Congressman Davis, you are clearly showing your true color, that of hypocrites.

Many Kudos to Congressman Lincoln Davis...That's right...if the Republican Party was really so worried about the sanctity of marriage the so strongly proclaim, then they would be trying to outlaw the very real issues threatening marriage...and that ain't a couple guys wanting to protect their families by marrying each other.

They have been exposed for the pandering hypocrites that they really are...wake up America, these guys have hijacked your country and are running it into the ground.

I have to agree. To claim that your are trying to protect marriage but then take offense when someone condemns adultery and divorce is beyond hypocrytical.

A good indication of how spot on the congressman's remarks are is the hysterical reaction of the hypocrites he skewered. If he's consistently this rational and fearless he should replace Pelosi in the leadership within the hour.
To twist the knife a bit: Massachusetts has a lower divorce/abuse rate than any red state.

well its because they are true Hypocrites:

Republican County Constable Larry Dale Floyd was arrested on suspicion of soliciting sex with an 8-year old girl. Floyd has repeatedly won elections for Denton County, Texas, constable.

Republican judge Mark Pazuhanich pleaded no contest to fondling a 10-year old girl and was sentenced to 10 years probation.

Former Republican Party leader Bobby Stumbo was arrested for having sex with a 5-year old boy.

Republican anti-abortion activist Howard Scott Heldreth is a convicted child rapist in Florida.

"Scott Heldreth, a veteran of the Operation Rescue and Operation Save America campaigns against abortion, didn't intend to join this fight, until his son asked to be brought to Pinellas Park.

"My wife and I, we felt like if God really put it on his heart, we should come down, to allow him to live out what God had put on his heart," says Heldreth, a carpenter. "

Exactly what is it that he said that they are upset about? Divorce, adultry, or abuse? The need to be clear which of these is insulting to them, or if it is all three. The bible does allow them to beat their children after all. They can back that up. But if it is divorce or adultry, then they have some problems. No where in the bible are they allowed to do those.

Oh, and before I get called a misogynist, the bible does allow for them to beat their wives too. I do apologize if I offended any women by leaving them out of my previous post.

These politicians aren't just hypocrites, they are modern day Pharisees. And most of us know what Jesus thought of them.

So, House Republicans get outraged when someone calls their hand over a non-issue and even tries to show their hypocrisy yet they don't get outraged when countless young Americans keep coming home in body bags from draft dodger W's little war....

Democrat Lincoln Davis lost the election and is a congressman no more. You will need to find a new gay hero.

Gay Hero?
Every queer want's to be a Gay Action Hero, a la Harvey Milk. But most of them do not have the ingenuity to do anything constructive, so they make up a gay hoax, like writing fake homophobic slurs on resturant receits.

Their biggest hoax was winning a Supreme Court decision for marriage..Like ACA 2009, maybe Mr Big Bad John Roberts, appointed by Pres Bush, is drinking the kook aide
