He is supposed to use the civil laws to make his rulings and the actions he takes in his role as Magistrate.

He is NOT supposed to impose some notion of christian sharia law.

Saying that straight couples make better parents than gay ones isn't sharia law.

Is saying leather is better than vinyl sharia law?

Is saying real grass is better than AstroTurf sharia law?

Is saying that diamonds are better than rhinestones sharia law?
Did a straight couple raise you?

Magistrates do not exist to enforce their religious beliefs. In fact, ruling on such a basis fundamentally undermines the legal system, and is a de facto act of religious persecution. While he is free to hold the beleifs of his choosing, his job is to make determinations of law, not issue declarations of religious belief.

Telling someone that 'it is in the best interest of the child to have both a mother and a father' is religious how?

Do you ever read the articles before proceeding to make posts illustrating your ignorance and stupidity?

"Now Mr Page is suing the Lord Chancellor and the Lord Chief Justice for religious discrimination, claiming that his views on gay adoption are rooted in his Christian beliefs."

I didn't make the claim, the magistrate did.

That's precisely what it is when the UK mullah alike is denying equal rights to prospective parents on nothing other than his (selectively applied) religious beliefs.

If he were just some crank on a street corner screaming about homosexuality then that wouldn't be sharia law. That would a nuisance complaint and cause for social services to step in and assist him.

Since the magistrate is claiming religious discrimination.... and he is the one suing and ought to know.... it IS about religious beliefs.

Except you're a closet case, ignorant and inept liar because this guy has been very upfront about his "religious" beliefs and at the same time has offered no other, secular source for his word game that "a mother and a father" would be better for any child.

"Mr Page said:'The premise of the decision against me is an unfair stereotypical assumption that Christians are prejudiced against homosexuals. I considered that I was a victim of discrimination for my Christian beliefs, and the public had a right to know about that worrying development.'

"When asked about his beliefs, he said:'Homosexual activity is a sin. Not being a homosexual, but homosexual activity. ItÂ’s like prostitution or having sex outside of marriage is a sin. Homosexual activity is Biblically a sin.'"

You lied on the talibangelicals' behalf is what you did. His project is explicitly xstainist.

The UK is more of a theocracy by dint of having a national church than the US is, but in practice it is far less theocratic than here. I'd say the apparent disingenuousness of the freeek's various "arguments" means his lawsuit will not end well for him.

Actually, it isn't irrelevant. In fact, it answered your question directly and illustrated that you are commenting on the thread, but haven't even taken the time to read the article. What is funnier still is that you feel compelled to ask questions whose answers you would know had you taken a moment to read the article.

Truly, Wondering, you are a troll.
