FRC All But Quotes Anti-Interracial Marriage Ruling To Defend DOMA, Prop 8

There are 10 comments on the lezgetreal.com story from Jan 30, 2013, titled FRC All But Quotes Anti-Interracial Marriage Ruling To Defend DOMA, Prop 8 . In it, lezgetreal.com reports that:

The anti-gay groups are busy coming forward to file their blatantly bigoted briefs with the Supreme Court in order to try and defend anti-gay marriage bigotry. The Family Research Council has filed a brief claiming that lesbians and gays do not deserve nondiscrimination protections. They also claim that, even if they do, the Court should rule against lesbians and gays in these cases challenging Prop 8 and the Defense of Marriage Act because gays can enter into opposite sex marriage.

Homophobia is caused by the inability to deal with ones own same sex attractions.
One of the founding members of the FRC was caught with a male escort he found on rentboy dot com. He claimed he didn't know what the site is for. Yeah right. If you're over 18, take a look at the site and tell me it's a place to find someone to carry your luggage when you are on a trip.

The FRC founder's name is George Rekers
"The escort now says Rekers is indeed gay, and that Rekers paid him to perform daily nude body rubs during their European jaunt."

FRC says: "Contrary to the understanding of the California Supreme Court..." hahahahahahahaha The FRC really is clueless, isn't it?? I thought the George Reeker scandal would've shut them up, but nooooooooooooooooooo.... It's called hubris.

This relies entirely on prejudice.

“As irrational prejudice plainly never constitutes a legitimate government interest, this court must hold that Section 3 of DOMA as applied to Plaintiffs violates the equal protection principles embodied in the Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution.”(Gill v.)

Thanks. I have a site that lists a lot of the anti-interracial marriage rulings and quotes from them. I love how that expanded quote has all of the same excuses these people use to attack same-sex marriage in it.

Here is a good one. There are others.

This compares the arguments against inter-racial marriage to the arguments against gay marriage equality. You will see, they are essentially the same arguments.

Don't know about those links, but this is the ONLY argument made against inter-racial marriage in Loving v VA.
"Almighty God created the races white, black, yellow, malay and red, and he placed them on separate continents. And, but for the interference with his arrangement, there would be no cause for such marriage. The fact that he separated the races shows that he did not intend for the races to mix."

That's the one I have. But I've tracked down the rulings to quote from the even more :)

Thanks. I have that one, too.

I collect such links for dissemination to supporters, so they can use them as ammunition.

I consider it one of the most valuable things I can do in the fight: stockpile and pass ammo.
