Somebody needs to go to the Pennsylvania state house and wake up all the sleeping politicians

We are a nation of LAWS. We are expected to FOLLOW THE LAW. If you do NOT follow the law, then be prepared to accept the consequences.

If you believe a law to be unjust, then WORK TO CHANGE THE LAW, NOT violate the law.

Fortunately, our CONSTITUTIONAL system of government gives us a NON-VIOLENT way of changing the laws we wish to.

Pennsylvania's lawmakers have had since June 26, 2013 to remove the invalid laws from their ancient parchment scrolls
.
It doesn't take a whole month to do five minutes worth of work; no matter how sorry and homophobic they are. They're just not trying

Somebody needs to go rattle the Liberty Bell and wake those slackers up

Every time this has happened in the past, Minnesota, Colorado, California and New York, the Courts have come down on the side of the state and any marriages that took place have been invalidated. I'm not expecting a different result here. County Clerks are obligated to follow state law, whether they agree with it or not.

Then go do it.

We have laws against robbery. If you don't like that law, are you going to work to change it, or just violate it because you want to ?

Do civil unions really do what the anti gays said they would do?

Well well well. Looks like the claims by the bigots that civil unions will do the same thing as marriage is unraveling in KY.

Exclusive: Will a lesbian couple be forced to testify against each other?

I hope we get this to be a big buzz on the internet. It will be interesting to hear the usual suspects respond,(Hannity, Limbaugh, Nom, AFA, Robertson, O'Reilly, etc.).

I Love it! PLEASE promote this story everywhere: Facebook; Twitter; etc.

I wonder where the Civil Rights movement would be right now if they had taken your advice. I agree that you don't violate laws that would harm another person, such as robbery, rape, murder, etc., but laws that do nothing but discriminate are another matter. If a person is willing to subject him/her self to the penalties, then I say, "Go for it". I did it in the 60's along with African Americans in St. Louis. Luckily, I was never arrested. I was, however, pelted with eggs, vegetables, and small rocks.

Well, remember what one of our great Forefathers, Jimmy McMillan, said during The Revolutionary War: "Our taxes are TOO DAMN high !"

What the heck does that have to do with anything said on this thread? And I don't want to get in an argument about taxes, but I can say this, "My taxes are not too high".

What it has to do with is violence against government officials when you think laws are unjust.(or your taxes are just TOO DAMN high !)
