More like offended because the couple is gay males but that is quite obvious. They are trying to use a "different" reason to discriminate against them than sexual orientation like some of them do when firing gays. I don't think the majority of Americans will fall for this. What is the reason for the policy? Can they answer that one?

Could the ACLU argue it is gender discriminatory that men are prohibited from dancing with each other but not two women? Couldn't the gay male couple be protected under gender protections? If the ACLU were to win on the basis of gender would the bar also ban two women from dancing together to make it equal but equal discrimination is still discrimination. I just hope they'll make it to where they cannot discriminate.

Queers need to go to a gay bar. Normal decent folks don't take kindly to perverts.

Let them continue to pull this stunt in more Texas dance houses that aren't gay. They're life expectancy should be around one to two months at most.

Gays that pull crap like this have no respect for others who share their world. None.

The federal hate crime law protects gays now. I'd love to see those rednecks who break the law and beat people put in handcuffs.

Do you condone murder and violence? Do you condone criminal acts? That seems to be what you are talking about happening to gays. Criminals should be put in jail.

Do you? The bar made the right decision. Who gets sued if the gay men are attacked?
The bar.

Really? Define protects. These laws come into play AFTER the fact.
That is not protection.

Anyone could be attacked though for any reason, not just gay people.

Same way any law is prosecuted after the fact but laws are also deterrents from committing crimes such as a hate crimes against a gay person. If convicted they could face enhanced penalties. They could do hard time for beating up gays dancing. Is it really worth it to them?

So you think it's a deterrent? Really? Sure, anyone could be attacked but who is more likely to be attacked? A straight couple dancing in a straight bar or a gay couple dancing in a straight bar? Be honest now.

As for these laws being a deterrent, you should think a little more on that one too.
A group of guys go out drinking, these people couldn't even tell you who the president is and you think they are considering hate crime laws. In comes two gays in pink silk cowboy shirts and they start dancing. Get the mop. The bartender is no idiot, he kicks them out before they need the mop.

At every "straight" bar I ever went to around the country, the men always outnumbered the women by at least 2-1 if not 4-1 or more. So it seems to me, all those so-called "straight" men at "straight" bars are already there to hang out and bond (bromance) with all the drunk men to begin with, or they wouldn't be there in the first place.

And all the horny single guys already know that if you want to pick up lonely chicks, you go to church and pick them up there. Because the only thing you pick up from skanky chicks who hang out at a bar, is a few nasty STDs and a chance to go to Maury Povich and star in a "Who's my babies daddy" episode.

I can help you.
In a straight bar the men are friends and talk sports, drink a few beers, whatever.
In a gay bar they are looking for someone to pass their HIV to.
