Why? Move to state that let's you adopt if you really want kids. And there are plenty of adorable little Chinese girls with brainy genes who are in orphanages in that country due to its sexism.

There are already way too many humans on the planet. The population needs to be greatly reduced, not just stabilized.

At $90,000 to $170,000 a pop; surrogacy is not likely to run rampant

Actually it's getting quite difficult for LGBT adoptive parents to adopt from countries like China. More and more of those countries are restricting foreign adoptions to only heterosexual married couples.

In the United States, though, there are thousands and thousands of kids languishing in the foster care system waiting for the chance to be adopted. Many of those kids in foster care will never be adopted and will "age out" of the system when they turn 18. There just aren't enough adoptive parents to take kids in foster care.

That's why every state in the USA needs to step up and encourage more domestic adoptions -- including adoptions by perfectly qualified parents who happen to be LGBT. Some states have figured it out but far too many are still stuck in the dark ages of ignorance and think that being LGBT automatically disqualifies a person from being a good parent.
