"tapped two major fundraiser" = The Obamaniac saying: "I'll sell you an official U.S. government office for cash under the table, no questions asked."

Ambassadors are SUPPOSED TO BE career foreign service officers schooled in diplomacy and the culture of the country they are posted to.

"The Foreign Service has unique status in the U.S. government. Applicants for State Department FSO jobs go through a highly competitive written exam, oral assessment, and security investigation process before they are eligible to be hired. Of the more than 100,000 applicants for State Department FSO positions between 2001 and 2006, only 2,100 became Foreign Service Officers.

"Once candidates have completed the application process, received a top secret security clearance, been medically cleared for worldwide deployment, and passed a final suitability review, they receive a score and are placed on a hiring register for their career tracks. New candidates are appointed from the top of the register (highest score), and candidates who are not appointed within 18 months will be removed from the register.

"In the end, fewer than 2% of initial applicants to the State Department Foreign Service will matriculate as Foreign Service Officers.

"Foreign Service Officers are commissioned by the President, with the advice and consent of the Senate. New entrants are hired on a career-limited appointment, not to exceed five years. They must demonstrate foreign language proficiency and the ability to advance through the ranks of the Foreign Service before earning tenure."

George W. Bush appointed 136 what are considered "Political" ambassadors.

So far Obabma has appointed 82. He's got quite a few more to catch up to Mr. Bush

I didn't vote for George W. Bush and I didn't support him. Just because a politician of one political party does something to a lesser extant than a politician of another politician from another political party.

Your implication seems to be that it is perfectly alright for one bank robber to abscond with $10,000 because the previous robber absconded with $12,000.

Can you tell me where I endorsed what happened? If not your comparison is totally incorrect. What I AM saying is that you are very selective when you find fault with something that has been a practice of every president since I was born, if not before. I just don't happen to see a problem with it like you do. If it is truly illegal, and you believe so strongly about it, why spout off here. Why not try to rally support somewhere instead of just carping about it? Oh yeah, I forgot, you went to the School of FaFoxy Politics.

Because The Obamanaic, busy creating a new scandal a day for the American people, is Evil. PURE EVIL.

And you seem to think that I am the ONLY person to believe that, when polls show that at least 45% of the American people agree with me. He is PURE EVIL.

Well, we differ on that as we do on so many things. Obama is not creating the psuedo-scandals. The Republicans are doing that, and so far they haven't ntproven anything. And since I don't was to belabor the discussion about it all, I will leave it at that. Bye now. See ya on another thread.

yep--bury your head in the sand! can't pin it on our guy. interesting how obama and top dems were complaining publicly about these tea party groups at the same time the problems began. strange coincidence! "pseudo-scandal"? to have the IRS targeting americans because of their political beliefs? you are either blind or stupid. bye bye.

By psuedo-scandal, I meant involving Obama in it. As soon as you can prove that he was involved you will have a point. Not before. And from what I have seen reported it was a Conservative Republican Manager in Cincinnati that started the whole thing. Should we therefore blame all Conservative Republicans for that? I think not.
