Our Sarah Luv person is CONSTANTLY screaming about being silenced, how her pals are being silenced. Oh, how LOVELY that would be if they would just shut it for 5 minutes, but nope, somehow their voices ring LOUD AND CLEAR, constantly. Where is all the "silencing" they are self pitying themselves about?
Lol your a delight ,my weapon is simply the truth.

A weapon that weighs heavy upon my heart as I swing it because my nature is to forgive and show kindness but when the gay agenda began to be shoved upon me and the whole country , than I and the majority were left with no other alternative than to stand up and be counted .

Are you being silenced NOW? I can't tell. Dear one, do you think I have ANY longing to end your way of life? You can spend your days happy and "gay" all your live long days for all I care.

I don't want to end your marriage or tutor your kids or close your house of worship, or do anything to upset you or yours. What goes on my house should be of NO possible interest or concern of yours.

In a perfect world, there would be no need for Topix or anything like it at all.

At least you are being POLITE to me today, so far. I think we hit a breakthrough finally. See how nice it is?

Because old people vote more than young people and old people are more opposed to marriage for same-sex couples than young people.
Old geezers have nothing better to do than go vote, while younger people have to work or go to school or take care of their kids, etc.
Thankfully the old bigots are dying off at a rate of 6,000 per day, so their majority at the polls will soon be gone.
They are being replaced by a generation which overwhelmingly support marriage equality.
It's only a matter of time, and we'll likely see the first evidence of that this year in Maine, Washington, & Maryland.
I have never met anyone that thinks homosexuality is normal other than a few gays. Do your own poll. Ask people if they think it's normal for people of the same sex to engage in sex.

Older people that die off are replaced by older people that vote.
You're not getting any younger either.

And you and others are telling the world that they should *take any stock* in an assessment such as this. You're telling them they should even listen to you. Do you realize what they see in their "opposition"?

Mental cases who screech and screech about stupid shit.

Idiots who cry and cry like stuck pigs because they cannot force everyone to live with a stick up their ass.

Seriously disturbed minds, people who behave like sociopaths and rapists, who are trying to *force into law* some version of morality which is a not only a lie but does not speak for everyone and which will not, ever.

But your ilk don't think they are abnormal; like freaks who only add to the problem, you think that that hysteria and all this behavior that reminds the rest of the world of gaping assholes is *normal*... and the gays are the "abnormal" ones.

Good luck convincing anyone with an IQ and an ounce of common sense that the gays are the "abnormal" ones. They're not even forcing anyone to do anything; all the hysteria is coming from ultraconservatives who *have failed* 100% in their mission, and are now acting like damaged, weepy, spineless *children* about it.

Thanks for reading.

It doesn't matter is they think it's "normal" or not, but rather whether they think gays should have the same marriage rights as heterosexual couples.

Obviously nearly half the country supports marriage equality for same-sex couples, which is why they voted that way in previous elections.

It's not about their age per se, but rather the GENERATION they belong to. Every generation younger than the baby boomers overwhelmingly support marriage equality. As those anti-gay boomers & silent generation die off, they are replaced by the next generation which is more supportive.

People don't become more anti-gay as they get older. In fact, even among the oldest most anti-gay generation, support for marriage equality has increased over the past decade, though obviously not as much as the younger generations.

It's only a matter of time before the anti-gays are no longer a majority among ANY generational group; specifically about a decade at most.

Of course they do. APA Division 44 is run by homosexuals.
"The young turks were all psychiatrists, all members of the APA and all liberal-minded easterners who had decided to reform the American Psychiatric Association from the inside. Specifically they had decided to replace all the grey-haired conservatives who ran the organization with a new breed of psychiatrist; more sensitive to the social issues of the day with liberal opinions on Kent State, Vietnam, feminism. They figured that once they got this new breed into office they could fundamentally transform American psychiatry. And one of the things this group was keen to transform was American psychiatry’s approach to homosexuality."

The next paragraph being:

"Spiegel is quick to clarify that this group and others like it by no means constituted a “homosexual cabal,” but “several of the key players were gay,” and the young turks were able to use their influential positions as members of the Committee for Concerned Psychiatry to propose candidates for office. Despite all the visible and colorful protests of the APA by gay activists, Spiegel maintains that if it weren’t for the internal changes set into motion by these psychiatrists, the DSM diagnosis would have gone untouched."

I just spent a highly unormal, btw, there is NO such word as unormal, day...first I had some coffee and read the paper. Then I spent some time preparing my 17 paintings and my picture hangers and hand out sheets for the Art Studio Tour that I am showing in Long Beach this weekend,(I will be off line for 3 days, HOW will you all get along without me?)then I went to the gym and worked out for an hour and am very sore now. I worked out extra hard so I can be all slim and buff to wow them in Long Beach and dazzle them into buying my work.

Then I waited for the cable guy to show up and he got my cable up and running again. I had dinner and watched some TV..yayy...TV back again..now am winding it down to bed time.

Please, explain how ONE of those things is UNORMAL? Unless me spending time as an artist is out of the main stream of things that most people do which is normal. I guess that would be accurate, however. What is wrong with NOT being run of the mill or boring?

All my friends with college or high school age children tell me that to their kids it is non issue. I went to one of the girl's high school graduation a couple of years ago and THEY had a special notice of the gay straight alliance. The graduating girl told me later that everyone knew who the gay kids were and who the gay teachers were and NO one cared. Some of the kids were even invited to the gay teacher's wedding ceremony. That is how much upcoming kids will 'worry' about gay rights or gay marriage. Not at all.

I have a 21-year-old son, and I completely agree with your observations.

Whatever shortcomings this young generation has (and they do have shortcomings, the worst of one being a self-esteem that wasn't earned--but that's for another time), I admire their openness to others' lifestyles and their unwillingness to go around judging people.
