If not for longstanding allegations of hostility towards journalists, certainly the raging homophobia spewing from the top of the government totem pole thing would do the trick.

<quoted text>Oh buttercup, buttercup, buttercup, we all know that babies are only a consequence of heterosexual vaginal sex and lately, more novel ways of introducing sperm to egg and bringing life to term. Even we gay folk know this. What you don't seem to get is that some of those little consequences are ALWAYS going to grow up knowing they aren't the least bit heterosexual, whether you want them to or not. Your problems with some folk not being heterosexual, no one's problems but your own. You heterosexuals can go about what y'all feel you need to do, it's not like you're going to forget you are straight, is it?
oh plz come to this forum more often rick in kansas and bring some of the fun with you .welcome .

It's not all about sex you know - do u think gay people aren't capable of falling in love, having relationships and getting married if they want to??? And do u not know that some heteros have nasty practices that you may not approve of either. Keep the bedroom to the bedroom. Who cares about details. Nothing's Real But Love....

hetrosexuals have homosexual babies, in the world as a whole the average homosexual percentage is 10% and lesbians are 5% found this below on wiki....

Africa

Though often ignored or suppressed by European explorers and colonialists, homosexual expression in native Africa was also present and took a variety of forms. Anthropologists Stephen Murray and Will Roscoe reported that women in Lesotho engaged in socially sanctioned "long term, erotic relationships" called motsoalle.[55] E. E. Evans-Pritchard also recorded that male Azande warriors in the northern Congo routinely took on young male lovers between the ages of twelve and twenty, who helped with household tasks and participated in intercrural sex with their older husbands. The practice had died out by the early 20th century, after Europeans had gained control of African countries, but was recounted to Evans-Pritchard by the elders to whom he spoke.[56]

The first record of possible homosexual couple in history is commonly regarded as Khnumhotep and Niankhkhnum, an Egyptian male couple, who lived around 2400 BCE. The pair are portrayed in a nose-kissing position, the most intimate pose in Egyptian art, surrounded by what appear to be their heirs.

Yadda Yadda blah blah blah. If some people clean their own house, they wouldn't have time to worry about Gambia's. If you don't like the people of Gambia, then stay out Gambia! Gee whiz! Problem solved.
Msunel , Im surprised at your comments. Black and Jewish races (to name just 2) have struggled with discrimination and hatred for years. Hitler killed Jews, black people, gypsies and gays. Where is your compassion for a discriminated people? This observance of the rasta guys behaviour on the beach is NOT about hatred of the Gambia or its people. This is about a crazy dictator of a president who thinks he can go around beheading people who are harming nobody and who his people follow like sheep (through Love or Fear??). There is mass homophobia by Gambians (and other African (Uganda) and Caribbean countries) who having been oppressed themselves have NO understanding or tolerance of other oppressed groups of people. Instead of having empathy, they have hatred and they join the masses and hide in those crowds hoping to be more accepted by the majority. At the end of the day, Humanity is the most important thing regardless of colour, race or sexual orientation.

i'm not surprised justine. points are always missed and an alteria comments used.
my house is very clean.
would anyone want to go to another country if the risk of getting scammed for money no matter the means to do so. no, so if the behavior is nipped in the bud then the gambia will still have lots of tourists.

Also, Cumupence, apart from money, these 2 innocent guys could have got arrested and charged and imprisoned. Imagine the scenario with a corrupt soldier or policemen it hardly bears thinking about.
