What I endorse is equal rights for minorities,

Equal right for minorities?
To a Republican it's communism.
While I would have vited against gay marriage, I did find the last part of your post interesting. The GOP does have some convoluted definitions of Socialism, Marxism, and Communism. It makes it obvious that all they know about the terms is what they hear from GOP candidates and that they have never attended a political science class.

Another lame prediction from the same crystal ball which predicted a 300+ electoral vote win for Romney.

How'd that turn out again?........

<quoted text>Thou shall not do murder. One of the ten commandments. Divorice is only in the case of adultry. Next.
Divorce is permitted whenever the husband finds fault with his wife:

Deuteronomy 24:1 When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement...

Although we could debate on just what exactly constitutes "uncleanness", it does NOT say only in the case of adultery.

Oh, congratulations on not making the mistake of saying that it was do not "kill".

Yes, murder is a sin. Abortion is not murder. Murder is defined as the UNLAWFUL killing of a person. Abortion does not meet that requirement on two grounds:
1) abortion is legal, ergo it cannot be murder.
2) no person is harmed in the disposal of an unwanted fetus.

3) a fetus is not human; it does not have a soul.

The soul is "infused" when it first draws breath.

“Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live. And I will lay sinews upon you, and will cause flesh to come upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live; and you shall know that I am the Lord.”

Ezekiel 37:5-6

Starting from the story of the creation of man, I think the bible indicates that (human) life begins with the first breath.

Gee, it is worth wading through all the bull$hit from the trolls, to finally find one post from which I can learn something. I'll have to file that away for use when arguing about abortion. Thank you.

Of course, nobody that actually believes in the Bible will be swayed one iota just because the facts go against them...
