What were they thinking. Is Illinois that clueless of a state. or just the some of the elected. I feel that person needs help. And with her win. The whole State may be in trouble.

I say let more and more of these whack-a-doodles scream from the roof tops. Let these faux religious types show their true colors. More and more people are distancing themselves.

There is some blame properly placed here, in fact. LGBT rights can be held responsible for the outings of many homophobic, closet case Republicans.

There's been a tsunami of them over the years.

Shame on lgbt rights for this environment.

You kind of have to feel for the Republicans in this district, their choices were this loon and a stalker. The good news is that it really didn't matter which mistake they picked, the district hasn't elected a Republican since the late 1940's.

The worrisome thing is it's never really about this or that loon candidate, this one or Bachmann or Palin or Cuccinelli. It's that there are so many people willing to vote for them...regardless of what the other R. candidate might be.

In this case, the Republican primary was nothing more than an exercise in futility, it didn't matter who they picked, they are still going down in November. I can't really fault them for voting for this nut, their other choice is likely to be doing time before the general election.

Anybody who makes such ignorant claims shouldn't not only be considered for anything ; they shouldn't be allowed to walk about freely ; a nice mental-clinic is the place for her .

They could exercise their right not to vote or they could write someone in. They still support the Party that gave them these two choices on the ballot.

I fail to see why we should feel for the stupid bigots.
