All right wing nuts do, they won't be happy until this country is a theocracy. Luckily, most of their kids don't even agree with them .... except when lying to their parents to keep from being beaten.

There are FOUR "natural Laws" being spoken of here.

The first REAL natural law, which is what Nature actually does and demonstrates (and what a wild and wooly show that is).

The second is that of Aristotle, a model that attempts to apply reason to nature.

The third is that of the Orthodox and Roman Catholics which tries to force nature to fit their logic.

And the Fourth, that of our Founders, which tries to apply reason to the observation of nature, in order to learn from it. This was known as "The Enlightenment".

I tend to agree.

Scalia is definitely unfit to serve as a Supreme Court justice... or any kind of judge, for that matter, or public office... or any position of authority, anywhere.

Not, not, not a "theocracy, but a "theonomy" which will quickly devolve into a "caesaropapism" ... or ... why our Founders wanted a wall between religion and State.

Whoever we are, we here are all most likely descendants of people who lived under one or another form of them.
