I did talk about HIV in this country. Evidently you too f-ing stupid to understand plain English.

I know it's easier for low life bigots like you to just blame gays for HIV in the US without understanding transmission vectors and how and why it persists. Never mind that you treated gays like lepers deserving of retribution after it infected the gay community for years without anyone's knowledge, much less the knowledge of gays themselves. By the time it came to light, years had passed and it was too late. Ignoring the need for action and education after HIV came to light because you thought it was a "gay plague" didn't help matters either. The fact gays are still discriminated against also doesn't help in education efforts to overcome the unprotected sex practices that help perpetuate the problem either. No, it's easier for a POS like you to just blame gays for everything.

Unfortunately for your uninformed and stupid assertion, my comments prove I know much more about how HIV came to be in this country than you. The strain of HIV most prevalent in the US came here by way of Haiti and has been proven so by genetic analysis of the virus' mutations over time. Do you recall how Haitians were originally considered a high risk group and subjected to equally poor treatment by your ilk like gays were? Probably not. But then you revel in your ignorance and prove it on an almost daily bias with your uninformed posts in Topix.

Wondering wrote, "If it's marriage, you bring up the one man one woman marriage between Richard Loving, Mildred Jeter. It doesn't apply to gay marriage.
"

Unfortunately for you, it does apply to gays. Discrimination is discrimination. restricting the exercise of a fundamental right like marriage requires a legitimate compelling government interest. There simply is none for prohibiting either interracial or same sex marriage. As every passing day day proves. Not has SCOTUS ruled the fundamental right of marriage is limited to opposite sex couples. They could have but cleaned to when ruling the federal government had to recognize legally contracted same sex marriages in the ruling in Windsor v. United States.

But whine away, bigot. Whining is all you'll ever have.

Talk to your friends about "personal responsibility." They are outdoing themselves. Gay sex among males is the primary cause of the HIV epidemic in this country. It is estimated that 4% of the population, you people and your bisexual friends, are responsible for just about all of it in this country. See, even you can say you're good at something.
What are YOU so worried about? STOP having unprotected sex with strangers and you'll be just fine. Just WHAT are you up to that makes you so ANXIOUS about HIV?

We know people with dark skin don't exist for you, due to the extent of your racism. And that racism is always the best indicator of other bigotries you suffer from - misogyny and homophobia. So naturally you only (incorrectly) refer to US stats.

As far as HIV transmission laws go - both parties in sex should be responsible. Anyone can see this. It was a point about laws. As far as educating people to be safe during an al and vag i nal intercourse then we know it's always the fundies and the ignorant right wing trying to shut down serious, fact based public health efforts.

You're merely trash.

Very disturbed, also not even close to accurate.
I refer to US stats for two reasons.
1. I live here.
2. It's a gay sex epidemic here.

You have no argument, just bigoted hate and lies. Neither of which will reduced the spread of HIV.

Unfortunately, that's true. But it would be more accurate to say you waste the oxygen here.

Ignoring the context of why that's the case and the contributions of you and your ilk that made it worse when the existence of HIV became known and help perpetuate it today by your bigoted condemnations doesn't negate those facts.
Wondering wrote:

Actually, YOU are the bigot and liar here.

You don't even consider gays to be "normal" (at least as you ignorantly define it) and constantly denigrate them as a class of people, the very definition of bigotry. You don't like the fact they exist even taught in schools. You approve of denying them their fundamental of marriage which includes the personal liberty to choose a compatible partner, not as you stupidly and erroneously assert, that they should be satisfied to marry someone of the opposite sex just because that works for you personally. You whine about the money spent on education, prevention and outreach efforts to get people to know their HIV status and reinforce the importance of safe sex practices and then when people get infected with HIV you turn around and complain about the healthcare costs incurred to treat the disease.

In an ideal world, everyone would act responsibly and with care and concern toward neighbors and fellow citizens. However, when you begrudge the very existence of an entire class of people and allow and/or approve of treating them as less than human, much less equal citizens, you shouldn't be surprised when some of those people don't act responsibly.

You reap what you sow, bigoted *sswipe.

Indeed. Yet you still wine incessantly when your tactics have proven themselves a failure.

Why would anyone assume as a logical presumption that your claims about your bisexuality would apply equally to all (men) claiming to be bisexual?
They shouldn't assume that as a logical proposition, and particularly not when there are plenty of examples of men who say they're bi who actually seem to much more on the gay end of the scale in terms of how they date over time.
Where the hell did I make any claim that my claims about myself should apply to anyone else but myself?

You think you're pretty smart, but you completely missed the whole point. My point is actually the flip-side of the coin you're trying to use. Just because you've got examples of some bisexual men doesn't mean you can apply that to all bisexual men. They are not all like me, and they are certainly not all like your examples. You need to learn the difference between what traits or behaviors are associated witha specific sexual orientation, and which are just traits of an individual.

Being bisexual simply means that I can be attracted to either gender. That's it. It doesn't mean the attraction must be exactly equal and it doesn't mean I'm into 3-somes. It doesn't mean I'm a sex addict or promiscuous, or a cheater or a disease carrying rat.

And who the hell are you to decide someone's sexual orientation based your observation of their dating habits? I'm way more qualified to tell you what my own sexual orientation is than any other person. You or anyone else doesn't get to decide for me.

You also seem to be under the erroneous notion that bisexual means some kind of "equal" attraction to men and women, as well as the ignorant idea that bisexuals need to be with BOTH genders in order to be fulfilled. I may be perceived as being more attracted to one gender than the other, but I'm still bisexual. I do not need to be with both genders to be fulfilled.

Also, some suggested that some people might "claim" to be bisexual in order to avoid homophobia. In my experience, that's nonsense. You can see just by this thread that bisexuals often get an even worse rap than gays. You can take all the same ignorance and prejudice that gays endure, and then add that even many gays have prejudices toward bisexuals...

So the idea that claiming to be bisexual somehow makes life easier is ludicrous to me.In fact I've thought about just saying I'm gay instead of bisexual, because THAT would actually be easier. But I'm an honest person and don't believe I should have to lie about myself.

I once met a guy and we were getting along very well until I told him I'm bisexual. I'm not sure what ignorant notions HE had about bisexuality, but obviously his mind was already made up. He said he couldn't date a bisexual, and that was the end of the conversation. He assumed he knew something about me that likely isn't true, based on just me saying that I'm bisexual. That's okay, because I can't date someone who makes ignorant assumptions about people based on their sexual orientation... otherwise the guy seemed pretty nice.

And just because someone is on TV, especially crap reality shows, doesn't mean they have any clue either. They are a fount of ignorant garbage.

Yes, they're gay too. Bisexuals open a big inroad for HIV transmission to the straight population. There should be a law.
Lesbians could say the same thing about bisexual women.Stay away from them. It's a douche bag free over on this side of the fence.
