She is among the most hateful of the politicians. She also has no experience. It has been well over 100 years since a member of the House of Representatives was elected President.

So much for smaller, less intrusive government. And leaving it to the States to decide the marriage issue. And activist judges legislating from the bench. When it comes down to it, all that is just talk -- the only thing that matters is ramming their religion home. Step aside, Republic, here comes Theocracy. It's ugly, it's raw, and it's America today.

Bachmann is an idiot who uses religion to justify her decisions. She is a discriminating nutcase who only babbles nonsense.

Theocracy is primitive and impinges on the rights of people. Government and religion must be separate. Religion is a personal choice and something that is to be imposed on people.

“We’ve amended the Constitution only 17 times since the adoption of the Bill of Rights. Aside from Prohibition, which was quickly acknowledged to be a mistake and repealed, we’ve amended the Constitution ONLY to expand and protect people’s rights, NEVER TO RESTRICT THEM, NEVER TO TAKE THEM AWAY.”- NAACP Chairman Julian Bond, 2008.

"States have, under the 10th Amendment, the right to pass any law they like.” said Bachmann.

Yep, they sure do. Just as in 1956 Arkansas amended the state constitution to say they would not be bound by the USSC ruling in Brown v Board of Education (1954). And… It was promptly ruled unconstitutional and unenforceable in the first case in which it was cited in a federal court.

Michele, honey…. Any state law still has to meet the constitutional requirements of the US Constitution. Did your civics class skip this point?

The anti-gays couldn't get a constitutional amendment passed at the height of the "gay marriage" hysteria in 2004, when the GOPasaurs had both the House & Senate and Shrub squatting in the White House.

Bachmann is just a wackjob pandering to the bigots.

The people complaining about Obama will have a hell of a lot more to complain about if an idiot and a religious nutcase like Bachmann gets elected or one of the other teabagger nut jobs running also. The complainers will wish they had Obama back in office.

Even if a Federal Constitutional Amendment was brought up and voted on by the legislators in 2 consecutive sessions........IT WOULD NEVER BE RATIFIED BY THE REQUIRED STATES no matter how many of them currently have mini-DOMAS that already deny the right to marry to Gays and Lesbians!!!

i dont care if you get married but when time to file on taxes forget about it!!!!!!!!!! a man and a women make a family which involves taxes, what next do you people want to change??????????if you adopt you should already have money to take care of the child, not have the taxpayers help ya. and if you already have a child then its bewtween the father and mother who will be able to claim the child. i think thats what it all comes down to unless i missing something!!!!!!!!!! taxes are enough of a problem as it is.(people not paying them to what they can claim and not) even though i understant gay people also pay takes, but that still is not considered a family when it takes a man and women to make a child.

you all once can from a man and women dont see whats the problem!!!!!!!!!!and if you have sperm donated so you can have a child without being with a man then that is your responsibility, and you should be able to pay for the child yourself or with your partner that chose to do it that way!!! other then that a child is the responsibility of the man and women, unless a tragic acciddent otr something
