Want to bet they don't say exactly what they want said? The new season starts Wednesday. I never saw it before, but I will DVR it even if I never get time to watch it. I am sure it will be discussed on the 16th here, and on facebook. I am interested in seeing if they have a bigger audience this year then last year.
They have yet to have had an on air moment that has been in the least bit offensive to anyone. That's by design. You know if his anti-gay beliefs are wound that tight, he must have some doozies about other folk he's offended by. None of them expressed freely in the reality that is Duck Dynasty.

How many families on TV have love and respect for each other? Even though it's scripted by them it's refreshing. My family loves this family. Looking forward to the new season.

There are several generations of my family here in Illinois. We share the love, and respect we have been taught from 3 generations. You must come from a horrible family background. How sad.

Just add that to the list of things you are sadly mistaken about.

This needs to be ignored, and should have been from the start.

GLAAD just did what GLAAD does in these sorts of situations, got mildly outraged. It's their right and the reason they exist, to be mildly outraged by the defamatory. They issued one milquetoast statement http://www.glaad.org/blog/duck-dynastys-phil-... and all hell breaks loose with the show's audience.

It was a setup. They walked into a trap.

Just like with the trolls here.

A&E played both sides like a finely tuned fiddle. GLAAD got headed off at the pass with the network's proposed suspension and then they played the audience into a complete frenzy before magically lifting the suspension before it even began. The audience thinks they won, but what they won is his being back on a show where such freely expressed beliefs haven't and ain't ever going to appear. The reality of Duck Dynasty is that it pays these folk to keep that kind of sh*t in their closet.

The family is coming back at more money then last year. Why would A & E give them more money unless they expected to make more. Oh, that is right, Sponsors are paying more for each commercial. That is Capitalism at its best.

I agree 100%.

Other networks commissioned studies to find out why the show's numbers are astronomical.

Duck Dynasty's competitors found out it's the only show parents feel safe watching with their children.

Great!

USA Today just gave Chick Fil A a rave review and said it didn't care about homosexuals.

Thanks to SAAD, Phil's views have been broadcast worldwide.

There's no more to be said about homosexuals--anatomy and physiology condemn them, which is why there are hardly any homosexual medical doctors.

There is a significant wave of behind-the-scenes pressure being exerted.

The pendulum has begun to swing toward antithesis.

I hope everyone is ready. 2014-16 is going to be gruesome.

I sure hope everyone will just enjoy the new shows. They are funny, simple things like love respect and getting along as a family. Getting excited about moms cooking, that's refreshing .

There was so many D Dynasty products before Christmas, and within days the shelves were bare, having been sold out. Americans are funny people. They protect their own.
