He's back for as long as he wants to be. The family works as a unit. Can't have them unless you take all if them. My family is like that 4 generations live within a 100 mile radius, and we spend all our Holidays together, Birthdays etc together. Share problems, Blessings, and beliefs. I can't imagine living in a cold family spread out all over the U S. I think a lot of families are like that, that is why they jumped on the Phil bandwagon. If this could happen to Phil it could happen to anyone.

I'm sorry but the Judeo-Christian God does not love homosexuals. It says so several times in the Bible. The God you believe in might not, but make no mistake, YHWH hates sin and homosexuality is one to him.

God even loves Them, you know the ones who say He doesn't exist? They can't ignore Him, He is everywhere around them, and it just makes them want to do the Jesse Jackson Jungle dance. I have to laugh.

you go first, that way he will know how to do it! Ask a cinder tube Christian a question you already know the answer to ? He quoted the bible. That's it.

And the best part? Phil would do it all over again. These are his beliefs, and he has a constitutional right to them. We are so glad there are still people like Phil with strong beliefs, willing to stand on principle.

Reality check, views and opinions such as those expressed freely in his GQ interview are not ever going to be permitted to be expressed freely in the reality which is Duck Dynasty. On their dime, such exercises of his religious beliefs are going to be edited out before air. He has sold that part of his 1st Amendment rights to the Producers. Net victory for anyone's rights or freedoms here, none really.

Really? Nothing in his life has changed. He is probably more popular today then he was before he was attacked by a small segment of our society. He certainly didn't loose any money. His reputation is still the same. He is still free to express his opinions. He will still exercise his religious beliefs when he chooses. What do you think changed?

You were going good up until you got to his freedom to express his opinions, he still ain't got that on the show, none of them do. Their reality is edited for television and anything which might even be confused with a GQ like moment of freely expressing way too much, has and and still will end up on the proverbial cutting room floor. Nothing changed except his personal choices of bigotries are out of the closet, off the show. On the show, he and any like-minded relatives, securely still locked in.

If they were edited Phil, and the family wouldn't be permitted to pray at the dinner table at the end of the program. There would be lots of things they couldn't show if they were monitored in any way. There are many ways to break a contract if they can't work together. A & E would be hurt more by their leaving then the Robertson's will be. A & E is charging twice as much for the sponsors this year then they charged last year.

You thought that was going to make some sort of sense, didn't you? The producers let them have their prayer as part of their schtick, the content of it has to meet with the producer's and network's approval or it would be edited until it does.

It isn't a live show, it's all viewed and edited long before it airs. There are going to be no candid thoughts on controversial subjects on the show, even if they had caught them on film.

Want to bet they don't say exactly what they want said? The new season starts Wednesday. I never saw it before, but I will DVR it even if I never get time to watch it. I am sure it will be discussed on the 16th here, and on facebook. I am interested in seeing if they have a bigger audience this year then last year.
