And the GOP continues to bicker it's way into irrelevance. What do you expect when you build a party based on shared dislike of everyone else?

It took him four years to realize something the rest of us knew years ago, that the Republican Party is going to be the last place in this country where it is ever really going to get better for the gay folk.

The quisling is still just as disgusting as an "Independent." He has all the same political views, and there's no evidence he's intrinsically any less in denial now about how these other political views of his necessarily undermine glbt rights than he has been for years.

He also looks like cartoon character, Bob Forehead.

How'd you manage to forget his previous six or seven years of collaborating with the rankest homophobes on the planet?

Is there a pill you can take?

Read his statements carefully. He still has a reprehensible philosophy. He has simply stopped kowtowing to a group that wants to oppress gays as well as the other groups he wants to oppress.

I've been a registered Libertarian for more than 25 years.

And if "the GOP continues to bicker it's way into irrelevance", then why have they held a MAJORITY in the House Of Representatives for many years ? Why have they held a MAJORITY of the governorships for many years ? And why have they held a MAJORITY of the state legislature seats for many years ? Your statement is simply false and obviously doesn't hold up to even casual scrutiny. And the slim majority that the Democrats hold in the U.S. Senate, may well be lost in less than a year.

There is no evidence the quisling has changed any of his political views, which are odious on lots of grounds, not only glbt rights' ones.

Even when people do change, after years and years of their inflicting harm they don't need to just be granted some airy fairy, anti rational get of jail free card by some purveyor of flaccid ideas. They can over time show they are sincere, show they have learned something, show they have, in fact, changed, and then make some amends to all the people they have helped to hurt.

So there's no need for you to be gullible or stupid.

I always wonder why people are so completely oblivious to facts.

The sad conservative homosexual has not changed any of his disgusting political views, nor apologized, nor made any sort of concrete amends, nor established any track record of not supporting homophobes.

Yet for your part all is instantly forgiven, no questions asked. I hope you're not around when the RCC similarly tries just an off the cuff apology for its centuries of homophobia - you'll probably just say, "Okay, great, that settles it." You're a gullible pushover and a sloppy thinker.

Why are you so unable to address the simple content: The sad soul has neither changed his views nor apologized nor made amends.

There's no excuse for such vacuousness.
