My heart goes out to all Australians who have lost their lives and possessions in these floods... Once again Australians are asked to donate to help their fellow countrymen and women, which I am sure most Australians will do so willingly... Sadly it also reinforces the billions our Government gives in foreign aid - does it go to the people who really need it, or does it go to corrupt Governments to build up their weapons and armies, or worse, line the pockets of their Government officials.. I notice Green's Senator Hanson Young has tripped off to Manus Island to check out conditions of asylum seekers - her trip no doubt paid for by Australian taxpayers .. the conditions which Australian staff also live under.. You should be at home Senator Hanson Young, giving your fellow countrymen support... foreign aid should also be suspended until every Australian affected by fires and floods in this country has a roof over their heads...and are back on their feet...Not to do this, shows what traitors to Australians we have running this country...
