Sounds like Doylan said she has had an issue with the firefighters for the last 20 years? Guess it was time for her to move on!

Time will tell with the new board (that will be new every 2 years like any other board). Sounds like 'sour grapes' and 'change is hard' and all of those sayings that try to soften the cold hard fact that it was time for that old government servant to retire.

That's not what was said at all. Try re-reading the article.

No problems until Klink and Ingel came in with an agenda to take over the fire dept. Let's see what these two do do's are made of when EP lights up like a matchstick. The Fern Lake Fire is still smoldering and our snowpack has been historically thin. Bet those two will go on vacation like Obama. When the going gets tough...golf.

School board has a 4 year term, etc.

Board terms are 4 years, and are staggered so the members overlap- so there is a 'new board' every 2 years...

I read it the same way, that Sue had a problem with a retired firefighter when she started in public service in the 90's. Maybe the problem was her?

now that paves the way for Jirsa, another trust fund baby like igel and Klink, to screw up the fire dept. I'm sure he knows more than anyone how to run it too.
